The building is beautiful and it was wonderfully warm and cosy on a very blustery, storm-battered evening and night. I had a single room but it was a double bed and had everything I needed and more. The shower was good. ”

Restaurant was warn and inviting....especially with the log burners. Although a few more vegetarian options on the menu would have been great.”

“Just had a superlative stay at this recently refurbished hotel. We were awoken in our charming, comfortable and individual room to deers and donkeys running around in the ground. The public rooms are gorgeous, so much love and taste has gone into designing it and it seems like all the staff genuinely love working here, they are happy and keen to help. “What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year.”
