“Cheap hotel not far from the City Centre and the University as well. The environment is very essential but very quiet and clean, the staff is ok and the breakfast is very good and abundant.”

“I needed this place to stay overnight for work purposes. For that - and the price - it was perfectly fine. Room was clean, had tea / coffee making facilities - and the place was close to Blaby town centre.
Place is undergoing restoration though - so parts of it are untidy; it doesn't look like the photo on the website.
No breakfast.
Receptionist Glen though was very helpful. Good communication.

Check in guy was lovely, car park aswell so suited our needs for one night.”

“Service was good, the hotel is in the process of being worked on, the tiles and floor weren’t fixed or flat the door wouldn’t close properly and there were lights that didn’t work hopefully they get this all fixed soon ”

30+ degrees and people begin to build up in reception. After 3pm it’s chaos for staff trying to check everyone in at once.
3 knocks at that door in the morning by housekeeping, presumably trying to turf customers out so they can squeeze another £15 out of someone.”

“the staff were very friendly and got us everything that we asked for but the room wasn’t in a good condition and everything was dirty and we didn’t have toiletries e.g no soap to wash hands with and the bathroom wall was gross and i decided to clean to myself because i was sick of looking at it and the shower was gross and it just looked like they needed a new bathroom all together because it wasn’t properly maintained. Then, in the bedroom carpet wasn’t hovered also the curtain pole wasn’t even...

“L albergo è molto comodo per la sua posizione . In poco tempo si raggiungono a piedi sia il centro che la stazione ferroviaria. La camera è piccola ma ben organizzata e funzionale. L aria condizionata funziona molto bene e si gestisce autonomamente. L accesso all hotel è bruttino ma non è importante e manca una zona salotto nella hall”

“An hotel in a very central position, with a good option for parking nearby. Everything else is quite average and maybe even less than expected considering what we spent. The breakfast was a disaster: they asked me the room number and said ok... then eventually come back to my table while I was eating asking for money cause it was not included...what??

“A beautiful, peaceful stay! So much space and goregous natural light streaming through sash windiws in the morning.
The rooms are in an historic, listed building, so there are quirks and without the radiators it can be chilly, so if staying in the winter months consider bringing a cosy dressing gown to wrap up in, especially after a relaxing soak in the huge bathtub.
The coffee machine and chocolates were a wonderful treat. As was waking up right in the city centre. ”
