Hotel a Brownsmead

“We ultimately ended up not staying here. It had nothing to do with the staff. The check in was smooth and easy. Yes, I read reviews before booking but after visiting I can’t agree with some of them. It is a very old motel and the outside is really worn. The room we were assigned was pretty worn too. The mattress was broken down and jiggled just by sitting down on it. It just wasn’t for us. I was willing to pay the much higher price at another tried and true chain hotel. The clerk was super busy...

“We stayed in the Aston Suites. I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. However, my husband who uses a cane would have had a challenge with getting to the front desk in the Norblad Hotel. I took care of checking in and the Astor Suites had an elevator which made it easy for my husband.”

La posizione è perfetta sia per esplorare Astoria che per visitare i luoghi iconici dove sono stati girati famosi film, come I Goonies. “We loved our stay at Bowline. We parked the car and didn't have to use it the entire trip because we could walk to everything we wanted to see. We loved seeing the trolley and the sea lions on a daily basis. The saunas on the river are wonderful. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was so friendly. Getting a nightcap with that view at the beautiful bar was perfect. We loved everything!”

“They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. The rooms were small, but modern and efficient. Weirdly there were only a few guests although when I tried to book it showed it almost booked up. The location is great right near...

“Hotel in centro, molto comodo per visitare la città. Il personale è molto gentile e attento. La stanza è abbastanza spaziosa, anche se il letto mi è sembrato un po’ piccolo; in ogni caso era sicuramente molto comodo! il bagno è completo di tutto il necessario. La colazione è ok!”
