“Room was very clean and quiet.”

“When we are in the Des Moines area we always stay at The Revel. It is clean, comfortable beds and quiet. The bar area is really nice and convenient whether you're having a quick drink before going out or sitting on the patio with the gas fireplace for a night cap. Checkin was super easy and quick. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.”

“The room was not as clean as I would've expected. The bathroom had a handful of hair in the shower and the grout needs replaced. There was a mystery stain on the stairs and crumbs on the couch. And I woke up to the TV glitching like crazy. The staff checked me in, but nothing particularly special about that. Not very satisfying considering the price.”

“From approximately 8 PM until around 10:30 PM, we heard doors slamming multiple times, as well as large groups of unsupervised children running through the hallway. We called the front desk a few times, and we were told that our room was next to weighted doors on public bathrooms and conference rooms. “The property changed our reserved room without notification. Once we were checked in and saw the room and brought it to their attention, then they offered a discount.”

“I stayed here with my family, and unfortunately, it was not a very pleasant experience. The property looked poorly maintained, especially the landscaping, which appeared like it had not been cut in a very long time. There were cigarette butts all over near the back entrance, and some of the rear door key-access systems did not work. Even worse, one of the doors opened without a key at all, which made us feel very unsafe. Inside, the carpet felt sticky, the hallways were dark, and there were...

“There is a Starbucks inside that's only open for 3 hours but they closed earlier. You have to pay $7 for parking but there is no room to park. Breakfast is closed by 8am just a heads up. The room was so dusty and toilet was running the whole time. Plus the bed was super hard.”
