Hotel vicino a Buccaneer Arena - Des Moines

“Checked in after a long time of driving, my bed didn’t even have a blanket on it and it had a dirty sheet. The pillowcases were clearly reused. I asked the front desk to get this rectified and she wasn’t sympathetic at all. Just OK we’ll get it fixed when we get it fixed and I was like well. I need a blanket on my bed. So eventually housekeeping came and I want to have a shower and the showerhead didn’t work plus there was no plug for the tub apparently since I booked through Expedia, it’s a...

“The upgraded room was appreciated when the room i reserved online wasn't available. The only draw back was ypu could hear all the people in the hallway. The children running down the halls. People trying to look in the peep hole. So, to keep this from happening, I put a piece on TP rolled up and put inside. The blackout curtains only keep some light out but does not make the room Dark. I enjoyed having a stove, full sized frig, microwave and sink in the kitchen.”

“The hotel is kind of a maze but it’s so cute! The indoor outdoor pool needs more chairs but it’s well sized and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. Their breakfast last longer than a lot of hotels I’ve been to.”

“The room and the cleanliness were great. The person who was supposed to cook the hot portion of breakfast didn’t show and the staff disappeared so they didn’t even explain what had happened. I would use this hotel chain again. It seems all businesses are plagued by poor employees now”

“Great stay. Clean room, great bed, plenty of towels, nice night ight in bathroom. Shower had shampoo/conditioner bottles. Parking is free. Breakfast was typical hotel stuff but plenty of variety. Area was kept clean. Pool & hot tub were very nice too.”

“The door to the bathroom was not aligned correctly and it was hard to close. The new carpet had a very strong smell to it. The smoking area was right at the front door so you had to walk through cigarette smoke and smell. Breakfast was just okay. They were doing construction during our visit. There were mattresses laying out by the dumpster. We won’t be staying there again.”

“It was your basic hotel room. We had trouble with the shower/bathroom. The tub was rusted through on the bottom, and the water pressure was laughable. Also, it was either the temperature of the sun, or freezing cold with no in between. The staff was great and had answers to everything we asked. The elevators and hallways often smelled of weed, and seemed to leak through the vent in the bathroom. Other than that the bed was fine, and the TV was nice.
