Comfortable bed needs a good maintenance schedule put in place. Advertised a pool which hasn't been in use for a long time.

Clean and friendly
We booked in here VERY last minute, at 9pm and arrived at 9:45, but were greeted with a friendly chat and not a worry. We received a call before we arrived with directions and a "that's ok, I'll be waiting". The room was spotlessly clean and we couldn't fault it. Comfortable bed, soft pillows (a bonus in any motel!) new towels and spotless bathroom as well. We left early the next morning so didn't get a chance to say we were impressed, so this is our way to compliment the owners.

Very quiet, clean & friendly
Very quiet location off the highway. Pool was very clean & refreshing. Room was very pleasant & quiet. Beds are super comfy. Friendly staff. Short drive back to town centre for shops, bakery, clubs & pubs, or a mainly level 25 min walk. We have stayed here before over the past years, but now there is new owners we will definitely be back again.

Well-designed motel in natural setting
Opposite the entrance door (outside which one's car is parked), the room has glass doors leading to a small porch. Here you could sit looking ahead at the extensive green of grass and trees, or to the left at the high rocks over Buhladelah. On the parking side, there are also extensive lawns, a gazebo area etc. The motel itself seems comparatively new and has the usual comforts, but it is the natural setting that is a real plus. A restful place.

So clean & very comfortable
After a long drive from Melbourne, this was the ideal stop over. Just off the highway for easy access & departure. I had booked online the day before which made an easy arrival process. Our room was ready, it was so clean & very comfy, plenty of space for a short stay with 3 adults. A fridge, microwave, tea & coffee were all very usable accessories. Light & fresh decor, very clean bathroom with great towels. Parking outside the door & no highway noise. Highly recommend.

Convenient stop between Canberra and Brisbane
Motel is a little tired and because ceiling fan was noisy we opted for the airconditioner which grew noisier as the night progressed. The lady at reception was very obliging..

Family Room ?? - you're joking !
We booked a family room over 2 months in advance for 2 adults and 2 children, aged 12 & 8. The small bathroom was just inside the front door and the accommodation area was about 3mtrsX3mtrs. In this area was a queen bed pushed against a wall so you could get in from one side only, with double bunk beds next to it less than a metre away. A small round table with 2 chairs was at the foot of the bed in the corner. 2 cups, plates and saucers were supplied with 2 spoons and knives. A small jug of milk was provided with just enough milk for 2 cups of coffee. Blankets and sheets for the bunk beds were left on the beds to be made up. We asked if we could have a bigger room that might be more suitable but "nothing else was available". This would have been fairly crowded for just 2 adults, but for a family of four ...?? A pretty poor effort, given the advance notice with details of how many were in our group and that all fees were paid at the time of booking. I'm sure the booking agency got their fee too !!

Staff very friendly. Only downside was the TV's sound - but hey, why are you watching TV on a holiday? :)

Enjoyable stay, but unable to get Wi Fi unless sitting outside, close to the reception area. Even then it was weak. The TV reception was terrible and could not be heard clearly. Picture kept breaking up. P. Stevens

Convenient and family friendly
Very nice host. Offered food at 10pm unless the nearby service centre couldn't make it (they did - 24hrs service). Clean and good beds. Suited well for a family of 4 and only 2 mins from the express way.

Modern motel
This is an unassuming modern motel located just off the freeway. The rooms are very comfortable. There is a lovely garden area at the back, although we just stayed for 1 night so didn't see this until the morning. It is quite close to town where there are a limited number of venues for dinner (3): The Lodge, The Hotel and The Bowling Club. We dined at the Lodge, but I it was not great food although clearly very popular with the locals. And rather pricey. All three are within 20 mins walking. Which is just enough to stretch your legs after hours of car travel.

The lady at reception was unfriendly and rude. She didn't want to talk to me or tell me about things to do nearby. She was not helping and not approachable. Very small room, old bathroom on the walkway. Dirty outdoor pool.

Charming country motel
Here is an inexpensive motel set in beautiful surroundings that will put a smile on your face. After being roasted alive on my new BMW motorcycle in the Sydney crawl at 38 degrees the motel pool was sheer bliss. The room was comfortable, fresh and scrupulously clean. Everything worked well and appliances were modern and in good order. Reception was perfunctory and efficient. Of the three previous motels I stayed in on my trip this was the highlight. Highly recommend.

We were only passing through on our way home to Qld, the motel was clean, well priced and the bed was the most comfortable motel bed we have ever slept in. (Not the normal hard motel bed you usually get.) The receptionist was very polite and helpful there was no restaurant at the motel so she told us of 4 or 5 other good eating places in town.

One of the best in Buledelah.
We only used it for the bed & batroom, but it was clean, comfortable and quiet as it's now off the highway. Good value for money even if the TV was on the small side in our room. Check-in was easy too.

Clean room, very comfortable bed
We stayed here overnight on the way to the Bluesfest. The room clean, check in easy and bed comfortable. Not a brand new motel, but it is all that you want for a quick stay
