“Stayed at the Black Dog Inn in Bolton for two nights. The room itself was comfortable enough for the price, so no major complaints there. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The first night was a write-off in terms of sleep. Staff gave a late booking to a couple who had been drinking in the pub, and they stayed up most of the night with the TV on at a very high volume. “Everything was wonderful with the exception of no air-conditioning or fans. Of course it was an unusual heat wave, but it would’ve made it a lot more comfortable. A small fridge would’ve been nice as well so we could keep our drinks cool. But the pub was great. breakfast was very nice and we had a wonderful time.”

“Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...
