“Location worked very well for our needs. Location was a bit sketchy but we came across zero issues with the neighborhood. Room wasn’t perfect and could have been a little more clean as there was a dirty rag on the floor and the bed sheets/pillows had some questionable stains. Best New Subs across the street was delicious and worth stopping by. Keep in mind all amenities, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge areas are all shared spaces. Doors to the rooms could have been more secured with deadbolts.”

“Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights. Overall, I think that we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that peeved us. The biggest thing was that though hot water just wouldn’t turn off no matter what we tried. The water was scolding hot so we were unable to use the shower. Also, the customer service was a little poor with no one being on site. Help was hard to come by if they fix the water issue and maybe had a bit more responsiveness I would easily rate them four stars, but...

“Our room was all one open room, not like the picture that shows a kitchenette. Everything was clean and updated, but the area was bad and a sketchy people hanging around. There was a person above us stomping and slamming things around, so I didn't sleep at all. Turned out that the manager called police and paramedics because they were concerned about their mental health. They did not offer us a discount for the inconvenience and lack of sleep either. “We LOVED staying here on our visit to Chicago. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are very comfortable, our host, Jose, was impeccable. The morning breakfast choices were just right. There is a nice clean frig that we used to stash some of our personal items that is allowed as well as access to a nice outside area with tables. “Feels like a glorified “serviced apartment” more than a hotel — no staff onsite except the occasional cleaning person. No luggage storage, but there are locations nearby to store your bags (via Bounce, ~ $15 for 2 bags for the day). With that said, the room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Great price compared to other accommodations in the area — location is A+, walkable to many bars & restaurants and the red line. All communication with the property was clear. “It was a good stay. The hotel was being renovated while we were there, so some areas were inaccessible due to construction, but the staff were friendly and did their best to help as needed. Overall, it's a cute hotel with fun sports-themed art. The gym is completely updated and new, which my sons used, and the bar/restaurant is also nice. Overall, a great stay if you want to be close to Wrigley Field.”
