“I booked the room through Expedia, which routed me through VRBO.As the day approached, I realized I hadn't gotten any info from VRBO regarding check-in instructions, etc. Typically, this is very detailed before-hand via email and text. “The Coastal Retreat is very cute inside. I love the way it is decorated. It was nice having the fans in the bedrooms, which were spacious enough. The kitchen was nice and spacious as well. The bathroom was nice, ,especially the shower head. I would not say that this home accommodates 6 people. We had 5 in our family. There is an ottoman that folds out as a “bed”, and bedding available for it, however the couch is on the slimmer side and I would not consider it for sleeping. The ottoman attached...

“Great value for a good size suite close to downtown SF. Having laundry was nice and the bunk beds in the separate closet room was ideal for a child. Excellent suite overall and only minor issue was we could hear a lot of footsteps upstairs at night and early morning.”

“Clean, quiet, and very private retreat in nice neighborhood, just a short distance from downtown Arcata, shops and restaurants. It was perfect as a base to explore the area from Eureka to Trinidad, with lots of opportunities to hike in the redwoods, birdwatch at the famous Arcata Marsh, and stroll/tidepool at the many beaches.”

“We had a great time staying at this get away location while visitng our son at Fresno state. The place was great for four adults and we had a great time reliving our Ms. PAC-MAN younger days. I almost beat the high score. Todd also provided a little snack and treat bar and offered up what ever was in the refrigerator. We enjoyed our time thank you again.”

“The place is amazing and in a great location for walking into town. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. It is a perfect place for a long weekend or an extended stay. We plan on returning for another visit. I highly recommend this location. ”
