Nella serenità delle colline in Toscana a 3 km da Camaiore, vicino Lucca 'Casale il Melograno' è immerso in una vasta proprietà con giardino, uliveto, frutteto .Facile da raggiungere. Circondato da oliveti, vigne e querce. Parcheggio privato. È un antico casale in cui troverete la magica atmosfera del passato. Nel giardino davanti casa, all'ombra di un frondoso albero di acero, si trova la zona relax da poter godere a tutte le ore della giornata e magica di notte. Vicino casa si trova uno scultoreo barbeque Ofyr. Dal loggiato con tavolo e forno a legna, si accede al soggiorno con camino e 2 divani. Un grande arco collega il soggiorno alla cucina-pranzo. Da qui si accede ad un bagno di servizio e alla cantina-lavanderia-dispensa. Un secondo arco collega il soggiorno alle scale che portano al secondo livello dove si trova la biblioteca fornita di libri in italiano e inglese e libri d'arte, con camino tavolo, divani e TV Sky 5 camere matrimoniali 4 bagni. La piscina tra gli olivi offre tranquillità, riservatezza assoluta e ogni comfort: doccia. Un fresco pergolato di uva con tavolo e sedie. Sdraio, poltroncine, letto in teak a baldacchino dove poter rilassarsi ascoltando musica. Quando la stagione lo permette è possibile gustare diverse varietà di frutta direttamente dalla pianta o preparare gustose marmellate. Per gli amanti delle passeggiate , escursioni a piedi o in bicicletta, dalla proprietà approccio facile ai sentieri collinari e alla via Francigena. Possibilità di prenotare guide specializzate per escursioni in collina , montagna e mare.

We had a most amazing stay in the villa. Anna Maria was a wonderful host. She met us and explained everything to us.The beds and linens were high quality hotel like. She thinks of every detail to make the stay pleasant. You can see the pride Anna Maria takes with her home and her guests. She also recommended a private chef, Antonella The chef cooked us a wonder true Tuscan dinner. We would highly recommend Versilia Camaiore. *****

Fantastic Villa

We stayed at the Villa with family and friends and everyone had a wonderful time The pool area was large enough to keep everyone happy The bedrooms all had fantastic A/C Secluded enough to be very private but shops and restaurants were very convenient. No hesitation in recommending we loved it

Lovely stay

Lovely villa, walking distance to restaurants and shops not far in the car. Pool a little distance from the villa but not a problem. Inside kitchen a little small but great oven / bbq outside. Amazing hosting and overall we had a great time! (Also a good base for many day trips in Tuscany).

Family holiday.

Wonderful house for 10 of us (6 adults, 4 kids). Children enjoyed playing in the garden. Swimming pool was beautiful - perfect for everyone! Anna Maria is a great host and resolved some small problems we had immediately.

It was beautiful, everything that was stated in the website plus other guests reviews are spot on. They ratings should be more than a 10 they should be a 15. Ann Marie was fantastic host. She met us went over the entire house to show how appliances, lighting security and asking for recommendations for meals or visits. She was on call all the time . The pool was great everyone enjoyed. The bedrooms were spacious and the views were exquisite. I would so recommend this brilliant Villa. If we come pack to Tuscany area we will definitely rebook.

family vacation in Tuscany

We stayed for two weeks with eight people (two families of four) in the villa in Nocchi/Camaiore and had a wonderful time. The house offers a lot of amenities for a longer stay in Tuscany, highlights for us were the lovely pool, a well equipped kitchen, AC in all bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, extra food storage in the basement. Communication with the host was excellent and very service minded. We can only recommend this place!

Beautiful villa in an amazing location

Our group loved our stay at the villa among the olive trees and rolling hills in this beautiful historic property. All of our needs were graciously accomodated and the rooms were very comfortable and lovely. The owner provided a very personalized experience, and cares deeply about the the property to ensure a pleasant and perfect stay for everyone. We loved the location close to the coast and picturesque small towns. Highly recommended!!

A wonderful peaceful location

The house is beautiful and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the AC works well. The gardens are amazing with lovely flowers and fruit trees. The Pizza oven was great fun to use! It is a little walk down the hill to the pool but my 86 year old mum could make it. Once there the pool area is excellent, very spacious. The Table Tennis was a nice suprise! Many thanks Anna!

Perfect for our family holiday

Anna Maria's villa was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 adults who gathered for a week to celebrate a milestone birthday. There is plenty of space to gather as a large group, but it is also very conducive to sneaking away for some quiet moments away from the group. The home was spotlessly clean and well appointed with any and everything we could possibly need. The grounds were well manicured and the pool area just sublime. The villa's location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Florence, and beyond, with easy access to wineries, restaurants, a supermarket, and anything else you might need. Anna Maria connected us with local chef Antonella, who came to the villa one evening to prepare and serve dinner, and it was a highlight of our holiday. We recommend this villa 100%, and look forward to staying again someday.

Classic Italian Setting

Absolutely fantastic place - fabulous view, olive and lemon trees in the yard. Has a pool with lounge areas and ping pong table. Large outdoor dining table where 2 different chefs served us delicious dinners, one taught us to make pasta! 3 bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, the 4th & 5th bedroom share a bath. Host provided wash rags and linen sheets. Comfy big beds. We had 2 rental cars for 8 adults and 1 toddler. Ample parking for us. Host was responsive immediately when we had trouble finding it or had questions about lights or pool lock. We made day trips to Pisa, Lucca, and Cinque Terre. We were there the last week of May and it was mostly too cool for the pool. Even so some of our group chose to stay back to enjoy the villa one day. I would definitely come back here again!

Lovely! Enjoyed our stay in this authentic, comfortable, well decorated home. 6 of our family members stayed. 4 nice bedrooms. 2 bedrooms shared a bathroom, although there is a 4th bathroom with shower in basement. Home has everything u would want- kitchen items/toaster, nespresso, coffee press, washer/dryer. Plenty of dishes/wine glasses. Outdoors is relaxing/lovely- olive trees/lemon tree, hydrangeas, grape vines and pool. Quiet, with exception of a Saturday night, when we heard music from wedding being held at nearby restaurant. Anna Maria very helpful/accomodating. Had chef come in first night- terrific homemade dinner- Antonella. Visited tenuto Adamo- nice winery. Made trips to Cinque terre , Siena, Florence- all very busy. Should have tried Portovenere. But good recs from Anna Maria on parking garages and tram use for Florence. Camaiore close by for sigma supermarket. Went in to Lucca twice- nice drive and town , just over 30 minutes away. Wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks!

Farmhouse bliss!

We were 6 adults and a 16 month old who stayed for a week at the end of September. Annamaria was very attentive to your needs but not intrusive. She is the perfect hostess. The farmhouse is welcoming and is well appointed and very comfortable. It has everything you need to make your holiday perfect. The house is spacious and allows everyone their own space when needed. The outdoor dining area is fabulous and idyllic. If you everyone wants to cook, the kitchen can be a little cramped but we managed just fine. We even had a cooking lesson done at the house. The house has everything you would need to accommodate a baby’s need. The outdoor space is sprawling and has olives trees, grapes and a beautiful garden. The pool is conveniently located down the small hill and surrounded by shrubs and fenced which was perfect with our grandchild. So there are no worries about the pool area. In general it is very quiet at night with only the church bell ringing. Pictures do not do the farmhouse and the grounds justice…it’s beyond beautiful. I would book this farmhouse again should we ever find ourselves in the area. Close proximity to Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence and many other places. Annamarie, thank you for the perfect stay.

Under the Tuscan Sun

This is a fabulous property and the grounds are even more breathtaking than the pictures. The rooms are spacious, the AC in the bedrooms is wonderful and it has the feel of an authentic Tuscany villa which is what we were looking for. Anna Maria, the owner, was gracious and always available, and any problems that arose she quickly handled. You will need a car as nothing is within walking distance. That being said, both Lucca and Pietrasanta - towns which we LOVED - are less than 30 minutes away as is Pisa. Other day trips are Cinque Terre (boarding the train from Viareggio), Florence, Portafina and we took the train from Florence for a day trip to Venice as we flew directly into Florence. The closest town to the Villa is Camaoire which is a lovely small town 10 minutes away, but beware Italian towns close down in the afternoon and they usually reopen around 7 pm. You can always find an exception but not many. If you have the time you should also take the main road out of Camaoire to Lido di Camaoire, it's an easy 15 minute drive. It has a very wide boardwalk, nice restaurants and lots of public beach equipment for the kids. TIP: When on Italian highways, make sure to grab a ticket from the first toll booth you enter; otherwise, when you exit you will receive a $66 USD ticket which happened to us!! This property does not disappoint & everyone felt it was the highlight of our trip! Grazie Anna Maria!

La Vita e Bella at Casale Il Melograno

There are many ways one can describe the vacation experience at Casale Il Melograno, and I will do my best to limit to a few. 1) Memorable-My family and I will never forget the sounds of the birds in the fresh clean air of the morning, the smell of the espresso brewing in the Bialetti, and the imagery of the mountains surrounding you like a warm blanket. 2) Bellisima- The home , its history, and revival, its feel and detail, thanks to Stefano and AnnaMarias' impeccable taste and desire to embody architecture and harmony of design throughout the home, garden and grounds. 3) Heartwarming- Stefano and AnnaMaria care only to make sure your experience there is all that you ever dreamed an Italian getaway could be. We were fortunate to have met her sister, Vicenza, who became part of my family as she helped care for us and the kids. Always with open arms and open hearts. We spent 2 magnificent weeks basking in the culture and life that begets of Italians, met many locals in Nocchi and Camaiore, walked the neighborhoods, took in the scenes, swam in the saltwater pool, listened to Vivaldi and ate fruit from the trees. What more can you ask for? No doubt in my mind that you will say "La Vita e Bella!" when you stay at Casale Il Melograno. Grazie Mille, AnnaMaria, Stefano & Vicenza!

Que Lujo ¡!

Impecable, los cuartos para quedarse a vivir, los ambientes decorados con mucha onda, la pileta sublime, el horno de barro , etc Todo para unas vacaciones, despertarse y desayunar con huevos frescos de gallinero que supimos alimentar, ciruelas desde el árbol , uvas recién cortadas, y tener a Camaiore cerca para las compras es el lugar.

Il Melograno

Bello e confortevole, ben arredato con gusto e completo di ogni piccola cosa tu pensi ti serva. Dai libri alle candele al frullino al barbeque. Materassi e letti voto 10.La proprietaria Annamaria è molto simpatica e disponibile e ti senti a casa nella sua ...casa. L'orto e il giardino sue creature sono curatissimi e trovi ciò che ti serve. La piscina fantastica e comoda anche per fare un party.Così la posizione del casale a due passi da centri come Camaiore e vicino al mare in 10 minuti, rende la vacanza ideale per chi come me e miei amici avevamo bisogno di spazio, natura e comodità. Si sta molto bene soprattutto nei living esterni come sotto l'acero che ti accoglie... e raccoglie tutti in un incantevole magia, allegria... un tavolo da ping -pong lo metterei oltre alla mini palestra che già c'è.Un buon voto di accoglienza anche per gli animali come i nostri cani che si sono trovati benissimo!Privacy giusta senza essere isolati. Abbiamo tutti vissuto una una bella energia e temo solo che avendolo scoperto e da poco in affitto non troverò più facilmente posto dato che le case belle e comode per una vacanza ideale vanno a ruba!

Casale "il melograno" Nocchi Toscana

Un voyage c'est toujours une découverte...et celle-ci nous a laissés sans voix! La maison est grande, sur plusieurs niveaux, vivante et chaleureuse, dotée de tout le confort, restaurée de façon exquise par le propriétaire; les jardins eux, sont soignés avec amour par sa femme et changent au fil des heures sous la belle lumiere de Toscane. L'accueil est chaleureux, amical et plein d'attentions. Le "Casale" se situe sur une colline plantée d'oliviers, on descend à travers ceux-ci jusqu'à la piscine magnifique, un havre de paix avec un merveilleux panorama sur les collines toscanes...un vrai tableau. Nous y avons passé 3 semaines de rêve, en dehors du temps. La gentillesse, la disponibilité, la chaleur des propritaires, le calme apaisant et la beauté captivante des lieux, en font un endroit inoubliable et l'on a qu'un désir : revenir...

Perfect family house

An ideal location for a family travelling with small children. Beautiful location, secluded and quit with a lovely pool area with fridge, freeze and toilet by the pool. We can highly recommend hiring a chef for an evening. The chef we got recommended by Anna Maria was wonderful and served many dishes typical of Tuscany. It was the best meal we had on our vacation in Italy. The host was very helpful and nice.

Wunderschönes Haus auch im Winter!

Wir waren mit Freunden für eine Woche über Silvester in diesem wundervollen Haus und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Unser Gastgeberin Annamaria hat uns sehr liebevoll empfangen und war für uns jederzeit (auch schon vor unserer Ankunft) erreichbar. Grazie mille! Das Haus war sehr "cozy" eingerichtet und unglaublich sauber - und zwar vom Keller über die Küche bis hin zu den Schlaf- und Badezimmern im oberen Stockwerk. Die Kamine im Haus vermittelten uns von Beginn an eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, so dass auch ein Tag im Haus immer entspannend und gemütlich war. Wir hatten auch unsere beiden Hunde dabei, für die das voll eingezäunte Grundstück ein echter Traum war, so dass sie ungestört herumtoben konnten. Das Haus liegt auch hervorragend für Tagestouren nach Florenz, Pisa und Lucca oder um ans Meer zu fahren, das nur 20 Minuten von Nocchi entfernt war. Die Restaurants im Ort und im nahegelegenen Camaiore waren fast alle geöffnet, so dass man nie Probleme hatte, die hervorragende italienische Küche zu genießen. Fazit: Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Tuscan Fantasy Fulfilled!!

We were a group of seven adults and the villa (Casale il Melograno) was even more beautiful than the photographs. The property is beautiful and well maintained, including the lovely pool area. The house was clean with many thoughtful touches, such as pool towels, lots of table linens, bedrooms with wonderful lighting and a well equipped kitchen. Outdoor furniture is well maintained too. Some of us used the air conditioning in their bedrooms at night. Other bedrooms benefitted from the evening breeze. The house fit all of us comfortably and nothing beats breakfast or cocktail outside overlooking the Tuscan countryside. Anna Maria is an outstanding host.. She also provided excellent recommendations for a private chef, Antonella. (She was excellent-highly recommend also!) We feel fortunate to have experienced this home. Cannot wait to return.

Charming Countryhouse in Olive Garden

Spectacular garden with old olive trees, pomegranate tree, grapes to eat, and a large Pool for swimming and playing! The charming country house is in a quiet setting, we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Some details in the house layout, though, were a bit surprising, eg that two rooms had only one very small shared bathroom, and one other bathroom was in the basement and not easily accessible from the bedroom on the first floor. This was not clear from the online description. Also, the general maintenance status of pool area, garden furniture and house could be improved (our understanding was that this is planned for the coming winter). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the fantastic setting of the property!
