“The rental was exactly as advertised. The beautiful cottage is located in a serene location on a working Amish farm. The owners are wonderful and eager to accommodate any requests. We were two friends on a shopping trip to quilt and fabric shops. The cottage is arranged in such a way that there is plenty of open space (loved the kitchen!) but very private sleeping and bathroom accommodations. Super clean! We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.”

“The owners have lovingly restored this home and have made a very comfortable retreat in the Akron/Highlands area. Things that can't be helped is the neighborhood and the streets 'nightlife'. We found ourselves a little uneasy about walking around past dark and were woken up a few times overnight with music, cars and neighboring parties. Hence our 4 out of 5 rating. Also this home isn't for anyone that is physically challenged by stairs.”

Check-in didn’t go perfectly as one of the automatic door locks didn’t accept the provided code, but there are two doors with automatic locks, and the code worked on the other door on the first try. “I can’t say enough good things about the process to book, communication with host, quality of property, and neighborhood. There was a lot of thought out into what guests need for their stay. It was a peaceful community, the decor was lovely, and the host was highly communicative. There’s plenty of beds to sleep in, the master bed was so comfortable (I overslept everyday!) Advice to future guests: get ready to relax! The area was perfect as well, everything I needed was in walking distance.”
