Within walking distance of outstanding restaurants,beautiful art galleries and unique shopping.This home is perfect for families and groups. 18 minutes drive to Banff, free underground heated parking, unassigned on a first come, first served basis.

Once again, we stayed at one of the best apartments you will find in Canmore for two people. Having stayed here once before, we were super excited to have found it again and this time stayed for a full five nights.On the fourth floor of the magnificent Solara Resort with views of Lady MacDonald (your balcony faces North), this apartment offers a fantastic getaway in luxury. Our host was amazing. Whenever we contacted them, we got a reply in minutes and any wishes we had were instantly met. The one issue I have and one I communicated to the host as well, is that all pots and pans are basically unusable since the non-stick layers are completely destroyed and are flaking off in parts. Knowing the cancerogenic nature, we didn't actually cook one thing ourselves in our time there but were able to still eat well by using the oven and the microwave. We look forward to coming again and will surely book this gem over any other if it is available.

What a great place to stay. A nice walk to the Canmore Center for great restaurants. The Drunken Lobster(seafood in the mountains believe it) Red Rocket Pie( great Pizza) the Broken Yolk breakfast delight. The unit has great views hot the mountains, really spacious and has a killer shower and soaker tub, Comfortable seating and patio. Parking is underground. It is a nice healthy walk to downtown Canmore. We would definitely stay here again.

Other than the unit being dated with worn furniture, the unit was very good. Spacious, great shower, comfortable bed and very clean. Good parking with the elevator. The area is congested with condos but no problems. The host was very responsive when making contact throughout. I definitely recommend the unit.

This was a pretty nice place . The kitchen cabinets outside could have been cleaned better . And the living room furniture is in need of replacement( torn leatherette, and springs could be felt) ( I would not sit on them) so I would rate 3 on that. Bedroom was nice, and outside balcony quite nice We did not use kitchen facilities but everything was there.i think once the furniture is replaced it would be quite lovely! !

Great views, great location! We loved staying in Canmore. Not as crowded as Banff. The downtown area is nice. Easy drive to all the different lakes, glaciers, hiking, etc. VRBO was comfortable and we felt at home. We loved the ease of parking. The elevator are super slow… We will be back—From Texas!

Wonderful stay

This penthouse suite has it all. We spent 4 nights/5 days enjoying mountain views from the deck, the kitchen, the sitting area, and the bedroom. We were aware of the elevator being unavailable due to maintenance; it's manageable. My favourite thing about this particular rental was the readily available extras like 3 super comfy blankets. They also provided ample coffee, tea, dishwasher tabs, TP, paper towel, garbage bags, and laundry detergent. We have stayed other places where you are counting every dishwasher tab or garbage bag provided, knowing you will run out and have to go buy more. The hosts asked us to empty garbages, run the dishwasher, and throw in a load of towels on our way out which we were happy to do since they provided all the product required. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location

Overall the property that we rented for our family vacation was very clean and in excellent location. The apartment is on the top floor which adds to amazing views. Communication with the host was smooth and the host responded to my questions very fast.

Spacious 4th Floor Solara Penthouse

Unit is spacious with great views. Underground parking is excellent. Bed is very comfortable. TV is actually a free streaming service with very limited options and no sports at all. BBQ is electric and operates poorly. Elevator was removed from service for replacement during our stay which proved difficult given that the unit is on the 4th floor.

Beautiful condo to stay in with many amenities. The outdoor area was not clean, we like to spend most of our time outside when weather permits. The elevator was out of order. This made it difficult to bring our items up to the 4th floor. 5 flights of stairs from the underground parking. We definitely got our steps in!!

Great base location for Skiing

Apartment in a great location in Canmore close to transport with free underground parking. Apartment was clean and had amazing views of the mountains. Host friendly and responsive. We will definitely be returning here as a family again in the near future.

We loved that the suite is on the top floor of the beautiful Solara Aurora building. It has beautiful mountain views out the living room and bedroom windows. The huge bathtub can't be beat! It has a full kitchen which we enjoyed using. They even have dried spices/herbs to use! I look forward to staying there again!
