“This was my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast. The house and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The room was clean and purposeful. Alex, the owner and operator, was very nice and welcoming.”

“Very good breakfast, nice staff, quiet and clean hotel. The only problem was that the pillowcases hadn't been washed (they smelled like dirty hair, and the bedspread smelled like dirty armpits). It was very late, and I didn't have much time to sleep, so I couldn't say anything about it. I recommend the hotel 100%, but I would definitely recommend asking for fresh covers and sheets as soon as you check in; that's what I'll do next time.”

It had a separate living room, door to the bedroom, an electronic system to indicate if housekeeping was needed (first time I’ve seen this and it was so helpful), a refrigerator with small freezer. The restaurant and bar were very convenient. The indoor was a wonderful way to relax after a busy day.”

I was never given wifi info The spa refused me my anemities and guest services/spa manager never got back up with me to get a resolution (this was a problem going back to check in). The location was fantastic! I love that Jefferson lived there and it was centrally located! One of the smallest bathrooms in a colonial house. They do use a lot of bleach. “Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once.”

“This property was fine. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My issue was with the services or lack of. Maybe I should have known this but I definitely did not read it anywhere. There are no services. No one cleans your room or makes your bed or removes your trash. Sheets and towels are provided upon request and you leave the dirty linens and trash outside your door. Again, maybe I should have known this was a timeshare but I did not and it was not written...
