Hotel per fare shopping a Captiva Island

“The photo on the listing was deceptive in that due to hurricane there’s no longer a view of the beach as shown on the listing. I totally understand that, and I’m glad the dunes are being rebuilt and seeded. But one of the things I was looking forward to was sitting out being able to look out at the ocean.. view that drew my attention was that photo. I would possibly stay there again, but again I think the photo needs to be updated as some people will be very disappointed.”

“House was clean and comfortable but fairly outdated. This is the fifth or sixth property we’ve stayed at in the village over the years. Acceptable property but not our favorite. Close to the beach, and close to the Andy Rosse stuff, but could definitely use some capital improvement dollars to get it into this century. Bathrooms and kitchen need to be upgraded. Pool was nice and I do like that it was heated for our January visit. House includes a washer and dryer but the setup was janky: they...
