“The property was very clean and beautiful. Everything was as expected, no surprises. Bob was a sweetheart and made sure to greet us on arrival and stopped over the night before we left to say good bye. We loved coming back to the house after a full day of activities to relax and unwind. It was so peaceful. Added bonus for our teenage girls was Diamond, Bob's pet horse that lives on the property. “My impression of this property is; we felt at home. The place was just like the listing, very clean and bright. We loved the upstairs/downstairs, large rooms, and the sunroom. The location was fantastic. We took early morning walks to downtown and the residential neighborhood.”

“This is a fantastic home in an extremely convenient part of Western South Dakota. While staying here we visited Devils Tower in Wyoming all the way to Rushmore and Custer State Park and the Badlands. All of these were short day trips from our home base in this historic house. We prepared most of our evening meals in this well appointed kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the vintage way this house is decorated. All in all an A+ to this VRBO”

“The home was so beautiful, cozy, decorated so nicley, and clean. They had all the amenities we could need. Even forgot shampoo and they had it available. The kids loved the outdoor playground and beautiful grounds. Everyone loved the private hottub, which was warm and ready to go upon arrival. The ping pong table was a big hit as well. I would recommend this home to anyone and will most definitely be coming back!!”

“This was absolutely the best vacation rental we have stayed at. The hosts were so wonderful. Communication was super. Best towels!! We so enjoyed our stay. We appreciate the rental for allowing our dog to stay with us as well. When come back to the hills this is our only choice to stay. Highly recommend this rental.”

“Everything about The Overlook was perfect! We were in town for our oldest grandson’s high school graduation and a mini-family reunion. The house was spotless when we arrived with everything we needed. “Property owners were very friendly and responded quickly to questions. House was very clean! The bedrooms are all upstairs and I didn’t ask that question when booking. (I will next time). The one bathroom is very small. The water smells like sulphur except on the facet in kitchen that was filtered. The GPS takes you to a locked gate that doesn’t go through to the property but Kelli was very quick to reply and even offered to come meet us. Overall a good experience!
