Douche probleem.
Uit de douche kwam kokend heet water, echt levensgevaarlijk. Omdat de boiler niet werkte en we niet koud water konden krijgen. De nieuwe eigenaar alsmede de oude eigenaar wilde niet volgens de man van de technische dienst voor de kosten opdraaien. Erg klantonvriendelijk om ons dan niet een andere kamer aan te bieden of het probleem op te lossen. Ook troffen we een keer bij aankomst onze deur open, erg slordig van het personeel die had schoongemaakt.

Would i stay again ?? ABSOLUTELY NOT
The outside of the Hotel has ben ruined by being painted Pink !!!! who had that idea !! The barman is more interested in chatting up the waitresses or eating in his cubby than serving customers which makes it even harder to accept the over inflated prices being charged for food and drink, the bathroom had several hairs dotted over the bath and sink area and a lovely pubic hair found under the toilet seat, the menu is extremely expensive so we went for food locally at the White Hart down the road where the food was exceptional and very fairly priced. The room we were given was so tired if i were running the Hotel i would close the room and re decorate it, over all the whole Hotel looks like it needs a complete re vamp, the staff don't seem interested at all which is a shame as its in a lovely location but obviously being run by the wrong people.

The room is not finished and the painting has patches. Toilet seat was broken, bathtub was clogged, wifi did not work and bed was unconfortable. Business center was closed, and they provide no robes to the pool. The photos are not a true representation of what the place looks like. It is run down and expensive for what you get. There was a big spider web on the ceiling and the lampshade was also super dusty. Staff is nice and the breakfast is good but the rest is very disapointing. I do not recommend this place.

Mixed feelings - not perfect but issues dealt with
Friendly welcome. Room had a warped window that would not close so not secure. Reported issue and was offered an alternative which was an excellent suite. The heating proved to be problematic with the boiler tripping out at inconvenient times but was quickly reset when reported. On leaving, I requested a reduction on the bill to compensate for the heating issues and was promptly offered £100 which I regarded as fair an reasonable. Mixed feelings about the stay - obviously things were not perfect but service recovery actions were good. Breakfasts were excellent with attentive service from the staff.

Lovely
A lovely hotel. Stayed in Valley room - a delightful room with antiques, sofa, huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was made to order. Can recommend the eggs Benedict. Wish I’d taken a swimming costume and visited the spa. Would definitely stay again.

A dated ghost town of a hotel
The room was dated with furniture stained from passed visitors. I felt like I went back in time and for the cost of the room was dissappointed. Evening Meal was very nice, but getting the attenion of staff was difficult, surprising when i was 1 of 2 in the bar. Breakfast was also a depressing afair with no staff on hand for a consderable amount of time. At points in my stay I felt like id wandered intoa ghost town. Value for money, no Would I stay again, not if you paid me.

A great place to stay and relax.
I have stayed at the Ramada in Usk numerous times for work and I have never had a bad stay. A bit remote if you are looking to walk to restaurants etc but I prefer after a long day to have a swim and then relax in the hotel which is very nice.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Huge comfy bed and bedroom. Wall paper a little tired but didn’t care. View of garden out the window. Fabulous breakfast and spa - all in all we just can’t wait to go again.

Lovely stay poor wifi
Enjoyed my stay, staff excellent as was the food. Gym well laid out and a good selection of equipment. Lovely grounds if you fancy a walk. My only gripe and probably the only reason I wouldn’t stay again was lack of wifi in the room (Room 11). It doesn’t allow you to work I’m afraid, and I couldn’t get a phone signal either. Pity!

Could be right for you, we like it
If you are looking for a hotel break with an option of spa time and great staff, it is worth considering as long as you mediate you expections. It is not high end, but our rooms were clean and presentable. We did have a problem with noise from children in the next room not being supervised, but that is our own fault for booking in half term. Staff would have dealt with it if we had asked and even would have moved us if needed. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Due to covid you have to book in advance and can only book one hour slot a day, which was fine for us. After using the pool we headed out for the day to explore the area. We loved it and will return for another visit, but I can also appreciate it is not for everyone.

Our room was huge. Bed was comfortable. We really liked it. Our 2 night stay was made less comfortable with noise made by ‘the pipes’ or ‘a new pressurising system’. We were told that another room had a similar problem. We were offered a bottle of something as compensation, but we didn’t accept, as quiet uninterrupted nights rest was all we wanted - the noise which did abate during the night recommenced at 0530 on both mornings. It was my partners birthday and I feel disappointed.
