“lovely pub owned by the Lowther Estate. Stayed 3 nights while attending a wedding at Askham hall 6 minutes drive away. Food was well above usual pub food, and sourced from the Estate. Recently refubished. Walls a little thin and you could hear voices from room next door. Also no lift and original worn stone stairs to bedrooms, so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. “Un albergo in posizione isolata, ma vicinissimo a Keswick. Camera molto comoda, pulita con ottimo letto. Colazione super, molto curata. Personale attento e gentile. Abbiamo anche cenato la sera: ristorante sopra le attese, cucina di territorio, raffinata e buona. Ci torneremo senz’altro alla prima occasione. Ambiente curato, pulito e tipico di una Inn di alto livello.”

La cura nella scelta di ogni oggetto, la cortesia dello staff e la pulizia impeccabile fanno di questo luogo un posto speciale. La colazione è abbondante, gli ingredienti freschissimi e di qualità. C'è una buona scelta a buffet e in aggiunta un piatto caldo cucinato al momento. Super consigliato!”
