There are steps to access the beach right in front of unit and you can hear the waves crashing at night. Beach is very walkable and walk to town is about ten minutes and is a very nice town. Would stay again. Easy check in and out, never saw the property manager.”

“A wonderful 3 bedroom unit; clean and well appointed. I came with 2 of my adult children and my grand daughter and we were all comfortable; plenty of room for family time and plenty of privacy when needed. The outdoor space and view is beautiful and the propane fire pit is a luxury. Communication with the property management (Haustay) was great..we had no issues but did ask a few questions that were answered immediately. I highly recommend this property.”

Beds were comfortable and everything clean. For us, we did like the fact that we could hear the kids in their room so we could check in and make sure they got some sleep, although others may not want that. “We stayed for a week, and visited the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Balboa Park museums, etc. The Carlsbad location is very convenient for these. The unit was very quiet, with the sounds of the surf a pleasant background. The deck is very spacious, and has a wonderful sunset view over the ocean. We were quite pleased with our stay.”
