I'm sorry we stayed in this hotel , we stayed here for 11 days and they never clean our room I asked the lady in front desk why ? She told me 14 days before they clean the room.and they count your towels ,too many ants in our room ,they won't change your bed , In fact I found big crocroches in our floor , no breakfast, I won't recommend this property because you won't be happy because this property is filthy. The old man have a funny attitude his mean ,the old man with a gray beard im talking about. That's it for now .

We came ready for kitchen and brought our food and the fridge stopped working and spoiled our food. they did fix the fridge but took all my drinks and water along with the spoiled food. we were offered a refund for one night and the manager bought some drinks half of what was taken. over all the stay was ok thus the three stars!! I asked for another night discount and no replacement and was not taken care of. I would not stay there again. Not happy

Hotel is in a nice central spot to visit Carlsbad and the surrounding areas. The AC could work better, but it did its job. I enjoyed my stay here, I had no real issues. I would recommend to anyone traveling to this area of the west coast.

The staff (Rafiqi) is awesome, he was very helpful. The first room that we were in had a problem with the air-conditioning and he quickly moved us to a different room. He is Very friendly and hard-working, thank you. My wife and I both seen small cockroaches in both rooms. With this exception the rooms were clean and well-maintained.

The hotel is convenient while visiting Legoland. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our refrigerator was not turned on when we arrived.

There was not much to appreciate other than a comfortable bed to sleep on. Found out on day 1, there is no ice maker in the facility (first time I've ever seen that in a hotel). The TV would shut off on it's own, we were instructed to unplug and replug the disk network connection to get it working. The damn thing shut off on World Series game 2, top of the ninth with one out. By the time I got in replugged in the game was over. Also gnats hung around in the kitchenette which had absolutely NO forks or knives, no glasses, no pots or pans, nothing. And again, no icemaker in the facility! We were told there were icetrays in the freezer. Keys didn't work after two nights, had to be reset at the front desk. The staff were ok but all they did was apologize.

Unfortunately, the common areas were very dirty. The pool was not open. It was closed for repairs and when I needed some of the amenities that they said to go to the front desk to ask for for example, shampoo and conditioner, they were out of all of that stuff. I would not stay here again. The staff was very friendly.

Breakfast consisted of no utensils, not even a spoon for my instant oatmeal. Breakfast was only instant oatmeal and mini muffin and a break bar. At least it was pet friendly. Not shampoo or even any cups in the room. Only had 2 little bar soaps. No hair dryer, no water in the pool, trash outside was overfilled.

The biggest issue I had was with toilet paper.  We went into our room and there was no toilet paper.  We asked the front desk and they said the manager was bringing it later.  Later that same day, we inquired again and they said they didn't have any.  So, my wife and I walked to the chevron gas station to buy some.  The next day my wife asked the front desk about toilet paper and they said some had arrived but it was all gone.  On our checkout day we asked again, just to see, and they said yes, we have some, do you need some?  Wouldn't it have been nice to bring us some when it arrived, rather than bringing us nothing?

The only highlight was the woman who checked me in after a long day of traveling. The room was fair. The bathroom was a mess, to include filthy vents that clearly had not had filters replaced in ages. The pool was empty and being used as a storage site for patio furniture. $569 for 2 nights is an absolute ripoff. I travel to Carlsbad a dozen times a times a year…. and I will never stay here again.
