Hotel storici a Carmel

“Absolutely outstanding experience at Villa Mara. We got in late and couldn’t believe we were in the right spot at first. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, you wouldn’t know Villa Mara is there unless you’re in the know. Once onto the beautiful grounds, we were greeted with multiple fire pits and a beautiful candle lit bar. Check-in consisted of a welcome drink while attentive staff saw to our luggage. All amenities were top tier (brunch, nightly turn down service) but the absolute best...

“Hotel perfetto per visitare Carmel e ditorni. Ottimo soggiorno bellissima camera, alla sera si può cenare, tutto in una atmosfera unica.”

“What hidden Gem, we loved our stay here. The rooms were spacious and quiet, the shower had decent water pressure and the beds were comfortable. On checking in Randall was really helpful in helping us with understand the facilities and places around the town that we could visit and dine at. Each morning breakfast is delivered to your room based on choices you make at checkin at a time you specify, which is a nice touch after having buffet style breakfasts in other hotels. There's a courtyard...

“Everything was amazing except for the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the signal only reached the entrance of our room, so we couldn’t reliably use it inside.”

“Close to the beach. View of ocean from some patios and rooms but not the beach. Hotel is actually one block from beach and that is clear on the map.Staff very helpful. Suggest booking rooms on second floor. We had a ground floor room with large windows from which we were clearly seen inside.”

“The Inn was charming, breakfast was delicious and varied, parking good and location terrific!”

“Hotel molto bello , alla reception ci ha accolto una signora gentilissima , ci ha offerto da bere e dei cookies e ci ha dato indicazioni per i ristoranti dove mangiare la sera. Camera spaziosa, curata e pulita . Siamo stati ad aprile e la struttura era silenziosissima . Il parcheggio e’ proprio di fronte alla struttura e il paesino di Carmel a pochi passi. Fuori c’è un caminetto con delle paghe dove sedersi e rilassarsi . Ci ritornerei sicuramente ”

“Perfect”

“Excellent location, off street parking as available but i had no issues, beautiful and spacious rooms, great air conditioning, treats in the lobby like amazing cookies, walkable to town. The only thing i can think of that would be nice is an outdoor seating area or courtyard to enjoy but everything else is so great I wasn’t stressed about not having that. 🙂”

“Very unique, stylish bedrooms with a delicious breakfast.”

“The location in Carmen is very comfortable, but for the price we paid the beds were very bad and I find unethic to sell a night for 4 adults with a sofa (often in USA), in this case we paid more then 700 euros and olso the real bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast terrible. ”

“Siamo stati solo una notte ma ho solo cose positive da dire su questa sistemazione. Facile da trovare, comoda sul percorso tra San Francisco e Los Angeles, buon prezzo, ottima accoglienza. La camera spaziosa e pulita. ”

“Breakfast didn’t have a lot of choices Hot tub & outdoor fireplace were great Rooms are a bit small Finding onsite parking was limited/issue”
