Inn a Carnforth

“Location was ideal for an overnight stay on the way to Scotland. Home cooked food in the restaurant was great. Parking was very convenient.”

“Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.”

“Friendly staff, large rooms, great choice at breakfast all freshly cooked. Will visit again!”

“La stanza era sporca e molto piccola rispetto alle foto di presentazione ”

“Mi sono sentita come a casa .l'atmosfera è stata molto calda ....e accogliente...ci tornerò sicuramente”

“The lady who gave me breakfast- the owner was really helpful and friendly and gave me a perfect breakfast. I have no complaints and the price was fair.”

“Staff were excellent. The food was excellent. Everywhere was spotless. The 4 bedrooms are up 3 flights of stairs but the staff we extremely helpful. An enjoyable experience. The pub is quirky.”

“We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there”

“Excellent accommodation, very good food with helpful, friendly staff.”

“Impressed by the overall service offered by the Sun. We had good rest in the room and enjoyed excellent atmosphere and food at the pub, both at dinner and breakfast. The staff offered us the opportunity to park next to the hotel free of charge in a spot that was temporary available for the night. Would recommend to visit when in Lancaster ”

“Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend.”

“The Tool Inn is a very cosy place, it has a pub downstairs, and the breakfast is top! I strongly recommend it. The only problem is that the walls are not very thick so it is easy to hear noise from other rooms.”
