The room was clean and comfortable although the extractor fan for the kitchen was directly outside the windows. Easy access for those who needed to leave early with a key dropbox and friendly efficient staff on reception and behind the bar. “Lovely hotel room, nicely decorated and the bed was luxurious and comfy. Bathroom was okay, but prefer walk in showers. It was very warm at night and unable to open the windows, although a fan was provided. Staff are excellent both at the bar, check in and breakfast. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and served with a smile. ”

Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain.
