“We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. But would have to say the best part was the lovely gentleman that checked us in as he’s a gem! Would highly recommend staying at...

“The breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs and lots of fruit coffee, yogurt etc. was what we often eat at home. Healthy and tasty. Water was always available as the tap water wasn't up to par. Fresh, clean water in cans. The afternoon wine and cheese was something we enjoyed very much as well my husband liked the milk & cookie event in the later evening.”

“We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. “The Emeline is located right in the heart of town but is very quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The room was huge and had a comfortable sitting area in addition to the bedroom. The hotel is well managed and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Old warehouse in historic district converted into hotel. Excellent blend of modern and historic style. Truly different and unique from the corporate chains.
