“A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. “AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Everyone - front office, housekeeping, F&B, & the spa - were exceptional with services par excellence. Rishnati qt front desk was OUTSTANDING, along with Nadan. Buffet breakfast and dinner were superb. Very scenic location - interiors are very beautiful. Highly recommended!”

“The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. We stayed for three days. The host arranged a driver to and from Colombo at a good rate. On the return day he also arranged a tour to local waterfalls before returning to Colombo.
Excellent breakfasts and home cooked dinners”

“The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! ”

“We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times.
The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. He also guided us to safely swim at the waterfall behind the hotel. And to top it all off, he arranged a candlelight dinner by the river! Five...

“This hotel was the highlight of our trip. The property is located quite a ways from the main road, deep inside the jungle; however ‘going the extra mile’ is completely worth the experience. Upon arrival, the hotel staff greeted us with a ‘Welcome’ juice and checked us in our bungalow, which was located right next to the small river running by the hotel.
