Pace e relax
Tenuta stupenda fuori dal centro. Qualche zanzara di troppo, ma i proprietari ci hanno fatto trovare i fornellini. Il gatto più....si acfeziona subito e ti guida ai croccantini quando vuol mangiare!! Siamo stati pochissimo, ma divinamente, soprattutto a partire sui lettini sul prato. Consigliatissimo.

L'appartamento appare cosi come viene presentato. Posizione tranquilla e nel cuore del chianti. Ardiana e il marito sono 2 persone splendide e disponibili. All'arrivo ci è stato spiegato tutto sulla casa e cosa fare nei dintorni. Sentiamo già voglia di ritornarci

Lovely idyllic tuscan hide away
We loved our stay at the villa. The property was a great location for Frienze and Siena and other parts of tuscany. Well equipped with everything you needed. Lovely walks, the tennis court and pool and vast garden with a range of salads were simply devine.

Familien Urlaub
Wir waren dort 1 Woche im Ferienhaus und konnten von dort aus unsere Ausflüge nach Siena , Pisa , Florenz und Rom problem los machen. Die Lage in den Weinbergen ist schön abgelegen, die zufahrt dementsprechend etwas holprig. Das Haus selbst war sauber und ordentlich gepflegt, das einzige was störte waren die Mücken Gras, aber dagegen gibt es ja Mittelchen. Unsere Ki der verbrachten vielzeit im Pool.

A peaceful place with a wonderful garden
We spent a good time in Tuscany in the house of Adriana. She and her husband Ben are a very nice couple and always very responsive in case of any question or issue before or during the stay. The house is kept in good condition, was really clean and is well equipped. The basement is quite spacious. The rooms upstairs are relatively small - the second bedroom can only be reached through the small room with the fifth bed. The rooms are equipped with air-condition. The pool is very clean and was never crowded (only the sunbeds at the pool are not too comfortable). The tennis court is nice to have some fun. The highlight is the garden which looks like from a catalogue of a garden magazine as the pictures already show. You can feel the dedication. Ben or Adriana will be there latest every second day to water, plant, clean or mow – but very discrete. You can enjoy it using the multiple places to sit or one of the sunbeds. You share the garden (but not the house!) with Kira, a nice and discrete cat being thankful if you give her from the food provided by Adriana. The only negative point (therefore not the full 5 stars) are the mosquitos. In the house it is not a too big issue as the windows are protected with fly screens. But outside they are everywhere even at the pool and it is something you need to get along with. Even using 4 anti-insect smoking spirals and an insect lamp in addition to a regular treatment with “Autan” you cannot escape them. A nice and peaceful place to be!

thank you very much for the compliments for the 🏡 and above all for the garden....I'm sorry that you felt bad about the mosquitoes but it has never happened like this year probably due to the many previous rains.Yes, as we are in the countryside and air clean we can not do the disinfestation with the chemical stuff

Fantastic spaceous and quiet place
We had a great holiday in april/may, first time to visit Toscana. The house is great and the wonderful garden is a paradise. We also loved the cat living in the garden ;) It was a bit too early to use the swimming pool but in summer it must be a nice extra feature, as is the airco- which we didn't use now.

Wir haben in der wirklich schönen Unterkunft einen tollen Urlaub in der Toscana verbracht. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war perfekt, die Lage des Hauses war für uns genau richtig. Wir würden hier gerne wieder einen Urlaub verbringen.

Schöne Tage in zauberhaftem Garten
Die Doppelhaushälfte mit kleinen, aber nett eingerichteten Räumen wird von einem sehr schönen, großen und liebevoll gepflegten umgeben. Dort haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der zum Schwimmen gut geeignete Pool und der Tennisplatz sind nur wenige Schritte vom Haus entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Die private Anlage von etwa 12 Häusern wurde gut in Ordnung gehalten.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Klassisch schön, und Städte wie Siena und San Gimignano in kurzer Distanz erreichbar. Ebenfalls gut erreichbar ist die nette Vermieterin, sie steht mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung.

Vacances dans un endroit calme et reposant
Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances à cet endroit. Le gîte se trouve dans un endroit au calme et très sécurisé pour les enfants. Ils peuvent jouer librement. La piscine est partagée avec plusieurs résidents mais nous y étions souvent seuls ou avec peu de personnes. Le logements est très spacieux équipé de tout le nécessaire. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute et sympathiques. Nous étions à 10 minutes d'un petit village très joli avec de nombreux restaurants et un petit magasin. Il faut bien utiliser le lien envoyé par les propriétaires pour trouver le gîte (nous avons utilisé Google Maps) car en tapant l'adresse, le GPS nous a conduit à 20 km du lieu exact.

Wir waren fast zwei Wochen in Ardianas Haus und der Urlaub war wirklich perfekt! Schönes Haus im typischen Toskana Stil - der Garten ist wirklich ein absoluter Traum. Die Kommunikation mit Ardiana war total unkompliziert und auch ihr Mann war super gastfreundlich. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man einen Urlaubsort sucht, um die Seele baumeln lassen zu können.

Im Herzen der Toskana
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir hatten Tennisplatz und Pool fast für uns alleine. Das Haus liegt mitten in der toskanischen Hügellandschaft. Absolut ruhig.

15 jours magnifiques
Nous avons passé 15 jours superbes dans la maison de Ardiana. Le jardin était assez grand pour choisir une des 2 tables à l'ombre, le calme et le chant des oiseaux matinal étaient parfaits. La piscine à côté et le terrain de tennis ont été très appréciés. Entre Florence et Sienne, la maison est idéale pour visiter la Toscane et arpenter le Chianti. N'hésitez pas !

Too much sun, lovely
We did not expect heat of 40c at the end of June up in the Chianti Hills so a v clean pool was most welcome. A well appointed house and garden where we spent a comfortable two weeks with all meals taken al fresco. Location v rural but v close to main Tuscan routes so making visits elsewhere was easy. We met up with owners and spent a most social evening including watching the Palio on TV and having an Italian picnic. We did suggested improvements to directions for finding the house but thats all. Love it.

Schöne Lage, nette Vermieterin. Ausstattung gut, in der Küche fast zu viel (unglaublich viel Geschirr und ähnliches, so dass kaum Platz für die eigenen Einkäufe ist). Kücheneinrichtung und Geschirr/Töpfe hätten sauberer sein können. Ansonsten aber alles in Ordnung. Fliegengitter vorhanden und wichtig! Sehr schöne Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten. Toller Pool.

Es tut mir leid für das Geschirr und die Töpfe, da es mit ziemlicher Sicherheit ein Kalksteinproblem ist, dass ich immer in der Spülmaschine gespült habe. Ich hätte es gerne sofort gewusst, also hätte ich sofort dafür gesorgt, das Geschirr auszutauschen und Platz freizugeben. Leider ist die Küche klein. Im übrigen bin ich froh, dass es Ihnen gefallen hat.Adriana.

Wonderful Week
We had a great week at Castellina in Chianti. This beautiful domicile is an eye candy and is well suited for traveling though the tuscany. It is in between the chianti vineyards and has plenty of space for up to 5 guests. The furniture is a mixture between classic and modern and is made with lots of love. Bathrooms are clean and convenient, the windows are equipped with mosquito nets and the shared pool is well temperatured and clean. A big beautiful garden is also included and invites you to watch fireflies at night (I had never seen any since over 30 years). We enjoyed our stay so much and traveled to Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Pisa which are all around in a radius of 30km (except Pisa, which is about 100km, but really worth traveling). We were really satisfied and had a pleasant stay. Until next time...

Wunderschöne Lage im Chianti im Herzen der Toscana
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einer wunderschönen Anlage. Ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man sehr schnell in Siena, Florenz und den anderen Highlights im Chianti. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Wir können das Haus absolut weiter empfehlen.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable dans la maison d’Adriana Et Ben. Ils font tous les deux très serviables et ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Le jardin est un vrai havre de paix. La piscine très proche de la maison. Et la toscane ... magnifique. La localisation proche de sienne et proche de l’axe routier principal, nous a permis de visiter la toscane facilement. Merci Adriana et Ben

La maison est tres agreable et bien equipée il ne manque de rien, de meme pour le jardin tres soigné, le tout juste à cote de la piscine et terrain de tennis, dans un environnement magnifique et en plus des propiétaires très sympathiques!

Very pleasant stay in the middle of the Tuscan countryside
The house is well appointed and surrounded by lovely, well-maintained gardens. The location is ideal for access to all the principal tourist destinations in Tuscany. The surroundings are quiet therby permitting a relaxing holiday. The pool area was clean and tidy. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed a bit longer than we had originally planned.

Gîte au calme, idéalement situé
Le gîte est bien situé pour visiter les merveilles de la Toscane, à 30 minutes de Sienne et 45 de Florence. Loin des axes routiers, il se trouve dans un grand domaine arboré où on est bercé du matin au soir par les roucoulements des tourterelles et où l'on peut apercevoir des huppes fasciées, des chauves-souris et différents lézards notamment. La piscine est magnifique, le terrain de tennis en très bon état, ce qui permet de se détendre après de longues journées de visite du patrimoine extraordinaire de la région. Les propriétaires nous ont laissé nous servir des salades du jardin et nous ont donné 3 délicieuses tomates ainsi que 2 aubergines, cueillies à point. Le gîte est fonctionnel, il dispose de 3 terrasses sur lesquelles on peut prendre les repas en fonction de l'orientation du soleil. Les moustiquaires sur toutes les fenêtres sont très utiles, elles permettent de dormir la fenêtre ouverte car il y a beaucoup de moustiques (pensez à prendre vos lotions anti-moustiques pour protéger les enfants).

Lieu insolite au milieu des vignobles. Idéalement situé pour visiter Florence, Sienne, San Gimignano, Volterra. Jardin soigné, spacieux et très bien aménagé pour pouvoir y prendre tous les repas. Great holiday, great host, loved it!
The holiday was beautiful - we travelled with two kids (1 & 6). The pool is great, the garden also! the hosts are so nice, came by quite often to see if we need anything, they plant vegetables in the garden, which they gave to us also for cooking. It is a place to feel welcomed and free and where you can totally enjoy life :) any time again!

Very good value for the money! Quiet place, close to Siena, Firenze, etc.
