“Abbiamo trascorso cinque notti all'hotel Heights di Portland in occasione di una settimana di regate internazionali. Ci siamo davvero trovati bene: personale cortese e comprensivo, camere pulite (la nostra era la 8, con vista sui prati a sud dell'albergo), ambienti silenziosi, breakfast abbondante e completo, ristorante molto interessante e con prezzi interessanti.

“The receptionist / bartender/ waitress (Sian) was really friendly and efficient, handling a large dining group, customers at the bar and a late check in, but still find time to have a chat as we bellied up to the bar for drinks. ”
“Bed was not comfy as we had backache after second night , we turned mattress round was ok that night but the after that . The step into the shower was too high and we had to buy a step to get in it and also the floor surface was very slippy .

“The property is tastefully decorated in great condition and extremely clean and tidy. We street parked during our stay with no issues with a parking pass from our amazing host Maxine. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without her , went above and beyond to make our experience of Weymouth the best it could be starting the day with a delicious breakfast and the go too’s and must sees of what the area had to offer. Booking anywhere else would be a waste of money… this is the place it Stands...
“Great location for harbour, beach, shopping, buses etc. Free off street parking. Clean room and bathroom. Room with fridge, tea and coffe and tv, comfortable bed with sheet as well as duvet which was welcomed, and had fan in room. Breakfast was really excellent, lots of choice cereal fresh fruit yogurt breads plus cooked or continental. Chris and Jackie very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Would recommend.”

The bed was comfy and the ensuite bathroom was gorgeous The only negatives are, I couldn’t leave my window open as there was an easily accessible large ledge right outside and the window could be opened fully from the outside if left open so I didn’t feel safe to leave open. “The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. ”
