“I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. “Nice size property. Missing the more luxury/comfort items. Garden furniture ok not as images. Has a comfy dining table. Balcony furniture present but not suitable for the area. High stools and table not appropriate needs more relaxing items to make area useful otherwise it was good for drying clothes. “A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend.”
