Castlepoint è rinomata per il suo paesaggio e le immersioni senza eguali. La baia di gamberi ti offre una vacanza con il luogo che ti meriti. Le visualizzazioni sono 1 su un milione. The location, and bach itself was perfect! It was clean, sunny, warm at night and so handy being just across the road from the beach. However what let this stay down was the extra costs for linen and people staying…There was only 4 of us staying in this 3 bedroom bach and 2 of us only stayed 1 out of the 2 nights and we were charged an extra 170 for linen plus 2 guests. I understand there is usually a little cost for extras like a cleaning fee (which we had already prepaid) but this was unnecessary. I have never had to pay that much extra at any other home stay before. They have done such an amazing job with the place but this left us all a little disappointed.

Lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped bach with amazing views of the lighthouse and the boats coming and going off the beach. Really good hosts who are super helpful. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back :)

Great place to stay. We liked the old interior/but the upgrade was a pleasant surprise. Good for children central to all aspects of what Castlepoint has on offer. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely bach, one delux new bedroom, bed and toilet, the bunk room is sort of internal, with only a high window that opens into that back bedroom, but for us it was perfect. Very very comfortable couch, lounge views were amazing, kitchen had evrything we needed.

This address has always had exceptional beach frontage, which means that even if the weather is rough you can still watch the sea all day. It’s just steps away!The addition of French doors in the main room, freshly painted surfaces, new furnishings and units in kitchen and bathroom, have elevated the house even more. We so loved the brightness of it, that reflected the light from sea and sky.Exceptional. Book it when you can!

We had a great stay, the bach is in a fabulous location and nice place to chill out. However, it needed a good clean - the dishes were grimy, cupboards sticky and there was dust everywhere. I think we left it cleaner than when we arrived!

Great location on the beach. Clean & tidy bach. Big lounge with plenty of seating. Lovely to be able to hear the surf. Lovely meal at Castlepoint pub with courtesy pickup and dropoff, great service.

A traditional kiwi bach literally across the road from the beach, giving us easy access to all that Castlepoint has to offer. We had a great long weekend here.

We love this place. Bright, light, and sunny, the best thing about it is the sea at the doorstep. You hear the waves at night, see them first thing when you get up, and then walk just a few steps over the road to plunge into them for a swim. The bach is warm too with a really efficient log burner so we were cosy at night. This is our go to place for a few days of real refreshment and pleasure. The sea, the rocks, the hills for climbing, spectacular views from so many angles. It’s a winner.

Perfect spot in the world, across the road from the beach, lots of walking if you wanted to. This is very much an old kiwi bach, very warm and cosy with the fire lite on a cool autumn days. Note bring all consumables, hand soap, tea, coffee etc. Don't forget hand towels and bath matt, toilet paper, paper towels etc.

A getaway for an occasion that did not go well. Whilst the location was what we wished on the beach front and close to things things went down hill The agent for the home was very accommodating in trying to fix things but cut holiday short after the rat. On arrival multiple mice seen and in things in cupboard toaster and plates. Unit manager bought new items and wiped surfaces. Proceeded to catch more mice through stay. Not a fan of such things. Then traps went missing and found under the cupboard with a bigger variety running away. The furniture outside is rotten and broken the seat is by door and catch leg on rotten board Shower not draining well floods around feet Quiet hard to get in and out of with limited mobility and the step against toilet on angle Understanding a bach but needs work to rent out to ensure a nice stay. Overall not recommending this place. Whilst re received a $50.00 refund the night we arrived for the mice we had a ruined holiday after the rat we left
