“This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. Breakfast was in a room by the lobby and did not vary for the almost 4 weeks we were there. “We have been coming to this Marriott property annually to visit our grandchildren and when we arrived, they said the pool was closed for deep cleaning when in fact it was a broken pump and every day we were told was being fixed and never was until our last night there. “The entry is beautiful. The check in clerk was very kind and smiling. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the jetted tub we got in our room!! The breakfast has several options and the staff there was very kind. The hotel is host to some kind of school so every time I would try to put in the address it would show the school and that was confusing. If I were Holiday Inn I wouldn’t want the school to take precedence over the hotel.”
