  • Welcome to Gumbo Limbo – Seabreeze Apartment, a bright and spacious tropical retreat designed for couples looking to relax and experience the laid-back charm of Caye Caulker.

    This one-bedroom apartment comfortably accommodates two guests and features a queen-size bedroom with air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy loft perfect for reading or relaxing, and a bright open living area with high vaulted ceilings.

    One of the apartment's highlights is the large covered private balcony, where you can unwind while enjoying tropical garden surroundings and partial views of the Caribbean Sea.

    Complimentary Wi-Fi and bicycles are included, making it easy to explore the island at your own pace. A shared BBQ grill is also available for guests.

    The beach is just a few steps away and can be accessed through the neighboring hotel property, providing easy access for swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying the Caribbean Sea. Restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops are all within a short walk, while the village center is approximately 10 minutes away on foot.

    We respect our guests' privacy while remaining available whenever needed. Whether you need local recommendations, transportation, or help planning your stay, we're always happy to assist.

Great stay at Gumbo Limbo

We had a great stay! Ben was very helpful and offered lots of excellent recommendations. The bikes were an excellent way to get around the island. Staying in this quiet area was perfect. It’s a comfy place with everything we needed.

Excellent Location and Hosts

We loved our stay and the Gumbo Limbo. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and prompt with responses. The location was also great because it’s a little removed from the most popular spots while not being far away at all, as well as super close to the water. Thanks for an incredible vacation!

Amazing Property

The property was lovely, the ocean breeze on the deck was amazing. So close to everything yet far enough away to get away from the hustle bustle. Ben and Aria were amazing hosts and met all our needs right away. It was the perfect home away from home especially with the dogs ❤️

Amazing location. On-site manager was awesome. A/C worked very well. The bikes make getting over to the stores/restaurants easy and fast. Would definitely stay there again.

My stay was tremendous. Gumbo Limbo is an amazing spot. Ben is very responsive and the Sea-Esta studio was very clean and welcoming. The WiFi was great and Ben offers free bikes and a free air pump. I would absolutely stay there again. Let me know if I can answer any specific questions as a guest.

Exactly As Expected

Solo traveler staying for a long weekend. The studio room was perfect. Check in process was easy and the room had everything I needed to be comfortable. I enjoy being a bit further from the split when I go and this fit the bill- bonus points for having bikes available to the guests! Tito the resident dog was the sweetest too!

Perfect for quite vacation

Second time staying at this fabulous little boutique resort. The owners are very gracious and welcoming and are available to help with anything you need. Our room was spotless and the location is perfect. You are a few steps to the beachfront walk and a few minutes walk to anywhere on the island. Thanks, Ben and Aria, we will be back.

Gumbo Limbo

The Gumbo Limbo studio apartment was perfect for us. We were close to the ocean and had bikes to explore the island. The bed was comfortable easy to sleep in. The neighboring resorts allowed us to use their docks, where we relaxed and swam everyday. We came for relaxation, but we did do one snorkeling trip with Ragga Sail. It was amazing. Food was amazing almost every where we tried. Try the places in the middle of the island.

Neat, clean and well kept. Flor checked in with me daily to make certain that everything was fine. Tito and Shadow (the resident pooches) were never far from my side. My first trip to Belize was a joy!!! I will be back again next May.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Me and my partner had an exceptional stay at Gumbo Limbo. No complaints. I appreciated the purified water and was able to cook a few meals with the cook ware and cook top provided. This was a quiet, peaceful location. The air conditioning worked well as the temperatures where well into the 90"s. Ben was a great host! Thank you.

Great location-10/15 min walk to downtown. Being able to use the neighboring property for the dock was huge plus. The bikes needed more attention(some had flat tires/chains fell off) but nice to have the option instead of having to rent separately . The host met us upon arrival and gave a great intro. The patio furniture is home to some ants, so everytime we sat outside we had a few new bites, so we used the wooden chairs/avoided the cushions. Overall would stay again.

Good value for your money. It is very close to the beach. Maybe 60 steps. You have access to the pier and beach chairs at the hotel next door. The room is clean and the kitchen worked great for making breakfasts and lunches. The air conditioning worked great. The wifi was a bit spotty at times but later at night we were able to watch a movie on a rainy night. The place is very quiet at night. The bikes were great for touring the island. The Main Street was maybe at most a 5 minute bike ride away. It took us 10 mins to get to the split. The grocery store was about a 3 min bike ride. It had everything we needed including microwave popcorn for our movie night. The only minor inconvenience was there was no where to hang up clothes- but we improvised a way to do that! A few more hooks in the bathroom and by the door would be great to help with organizing items (but not a necessity).
