“This place was so nice! We loved the history and the charm! Staff were helpful and polite. The room was spacious and clean. And breakfast was great!
The negatives were minor - the room was huge with a high vaulted ceiling which was great but there was only one small vent to heat the room and overnight the temp never got above 68 even though it was set to 72… it was 25 outside with snow and ice though so it could have just been that the frigid temps were too much for the heating system. “The hotel is amazing, the staff is very hospitable, and the breakfast food is amazing to wake up too. Had a great view of the largest Winston landmark building. Even with bad snowy weather, the warmth and hospitality inside definitely melted all that away in my room. Will definitely return, this is my second stay and not soon to be my last.”
