“We come to the area 3 times a year for a hockey tournament and this was the first at Tru. The parking was super convenient and always had available spots and was well lit. The room was very small which could be expected. The water pressure was very low so it was difficult to take a quick shower due to that. Fair selection for breakfast but were trying too much with eggs; scrambled eggs would have been fine. The staff always looked mad to be there and annoyed when I noticed some guests asking...

“I had a room on the first floor which I did not like. The bathroom light was really dim and the bathroom was super tight. When I went to wash my hands the water in the sink was really slow to go down. Ultimate turn off. I called the front desk and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and didn't call back and they didn't call me back. I left and went somewhere else. I was over it.”

“I arrived just after check in time and I had my choice of parking spots. The front desk staff member on Thursday, 04/09/26 made check in super easy. My room was easy to find. My room was crystal clean and the layout perfect for my stay. The staff in the bar/restaurant were both attentive and friendly. Restaurant manager was engaging which was impressive. “For being posted as a 100% smoke free environment, the elevator smelled of smoke, and when getting off the elevator on the 2nd floor you got accosted by the smell of pot. Long term stay tenants sat right outside the rear door smoking so you couldn't get away from it. The cleaning crew tried to adjust by using too much cleaner making the floors sticky”

“The sheets had not been changed but the bed was made up. Sheets were full of hair and sand. Horrible place. Never another Econo Lodge! ”

“Floor was filthy. So i wiped it down. Room was dusted but finger marks on micro fridge and i wiped down all surfaces too. Showerhead worked but needs replace. Caulking needed around tub, water damage, but no mold or smell. Quiet from traffic noise.”
