“Two issues: hot water was not all that hot and the building fire alarm was having issues - it went off a 1AM when I was staying and the strobe light in my bathroom didn’t stop flashing until 8 AM. Fortunately maintenance disconnected the strobe in my room so I could sleep. I overheard the fire department say this was the 25th time they had been called to the property in 2026 on false alarms. This needs resolved ”

“The property, staff, and location are lovely. The property is clean, quiet, and is a <5 minute walk to Nationals Park, coffee, restaurants, and bars. The only ammentity I missed was a full length mirror. We did experience a bit of frustration after check-in. We could not access the elevator in the parking garage to get back into the property. We attempted several times to call for assistance but there is no cell service down below. Thankfully a tentant was leaving and stopped to assist. Into...

“I love my stay at this property. Suites are clean, spacious with amazing views of Navy Yard, Nationals Park and the Capitol Building. The staff was very friendly and supported me throught my 7-night stay. Free breakfast was much better than anticipated, with a wide variety of choices to choose from. Overall, one of my best stays in the DC area. Recommended 10/10!”

“The location is great and the rooms are good but the service was disappointing. The front desk staff came across as snobby and unwelcoming. Simple questions were met with snappy responses, which made it feel like I was being talked down to instead of helped. There was also a basic billing issue that the staff could not handle properly. Breakfast was included in my rate, but it was not reflected correctly on the bill. It took two phone calls and then an in-person conversation to get it fixed,...

“I loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, but a tad small. The hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating. I was able to request a later checkout because I had an event to attend and the location of the hotel is perfect. The views of the wharf is beautiful and there are plenty of eateries in proximity. The hotel also offers meals and delicious cocktails. I would definitely stay again when I return to DC!”

“Excellent location, 1-2 mins walk from metro, and few minutes steps your already at the center of the US Capitol. Complementary breakfast is a good start for your longday and expect a clean room at the end of the day as they have a daily housekeeping. The staff in reception are friendly and helpful. We arrived around 11:00 and aiming we can leave our luggage’s, but we were able to checked in. We stayed 3 nights with my husband and we definitely stay again in Capitol Hill hotel. ”

“This hotel is great! The best thing about it is the staff. Unfortunately, one of our party had a medical problem arise. Everyone helped us out in resolving the problem by providing information about local care, and transportation to and from the facility. Not something you want to have to think about on a vacation, but their support and assistance was greatly appreciated. ”

“Lovely room - very spacious. Comfortable, big bed. Shower had good water pressure which was nice. Didn’t use many of the amenities as we were there for sight seeing but lobby/bar was very nice, had a quick drink there. Only downside was the coffee they offered in the morning was very expensive and tasted awful. They should offer free coffee or if they’re going to charge that much, should offer options for better flavors (creamers, syrups etc). ”
