Romantic Winter Escape with hot tub and dock, 3 miles to the beach

Paradise awaits! Enjoy the gorgeous sunrise over the Emerald Isle bridge, and the sunsets over the islands. Watch the dolphins play, fish, enjoy the refreshing saltwater, play on the swim-mat, kayak to the islands, endless adventure. In the evenings relax in the hot tub on the back porch. 3 miles to the beach. This is a peaceful and quiet home, the most noise you will hear are the boats going by. The water is steps away from the screened in front porch. Bring your boat and tie it to the dock.

Our home is at the end of the Road, Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Most of our neighbors are older so we do ask that noise be kept down after 9pm.

Not much traffic on Waterway drive, there is plenty of parking for 3 cars. We do ask that there not be more than 3 cars at the home. Waterway Drive is a private and small road.

- Life Jackets and water shoes are HIGHLY recommended for swimming off the dock

Comfortable,very clean home, well stocked with all the essentials plus thoughtful extras (toiletries, snacks, hot chocolate fixings, coffee and K pods.) Sunrise AND sunset AND dolphin viewing from the dock AND front porch! Saw some of the decorated holiday Floatilla parade boats go right by the dock. Hosts are very responsive and check in was without issue. The hot tub was a welcome treat as the weather was freezing. We didn't fish but probably will try that next time. This was our first stay here but we look forward to coming back again! Highly recommend.

We had such an amazing stay! The house had everything we needed and more. We loved spending evenings on the porch playing games, sharing meals, and watching all the boats go by from the dock and porch. The kayaks were perfect for little adventures, exploring nearby islands, and discovering the sand hills—our kids especially loved running up and down them! Morning coffee at the coffee bar was such a treat (K-Cups or ground), and we made great use of the grill and outdoor shower after our days outside. Shark tooth hunts were a highlight too. Truly the perfect spot for both relaxation and adventure—we can’t wait to come back!
We went kayaking everyday, multiple times a day. Shark Tooth Island is just across the way and a sandy beach wasn’t too far off either (better if you go during less boat activity for less rocky waves).
We found so many shark teeth! Bring toys to help sift through the sand 👏🏻
Ended up with 50+ shark teeth (from tiny to medium size), once you know what you’re looking for, you can’t unsee them 🤗
Quiet area (we went late August), there wasn’t a moment that felt crowded.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family to relax and recharge! Loved having the dock to fish on and kayaks to enjoy. So cool being able to paddle over to shark tooth island. Neighbors were super friendly too! We will definitely consider this property again in the future for a short getaway!

So the property and Jonathan's house was excellent. The screened porch, outdoor shower and hot tub were our favorites. The location was amazing. Would i rent again? Yes but only in the off season. The issue while we were there was with the next door neighbor and all of these people parking in front of the house. At one point there were 20 young adults who stayed all afternoon. 8pm was the neighbors cut off time. And this happened every day while we were there Sunday though Thursday. The neighbor said its worse on the weekends.

Fishing Trip Weekend

This was the 2nd time that I stayed at this property, first time where I was the renter. The property owners are super nice and we're great to work with. The location was perfect for us and our objective. They have a dock on the water and we fished of it as well. Looking forward to our next visit

Perfect Location

Our family of 5 comfortably stayed a week in April. We made good use of the dock to catch fish. We kayaked to shark tooth island and found interesting teeth and shells. So close to Emerald Isle, the aquarium and the town of swansboro that we never lacked for something to do.

INCREDIBLE

We just needed a little cozy place by the water and we got it. The location is perfect, it's quiet and safe. Incredible sunrises and sunsets! George is a great and friendly neighbor. We heard and saw Dolphins nearly every day. Used the Kayaks so much and found several shark teeth on shark tooth island. Emerald Isle is just 10 min away and breathtaking! The point has SO MANY shells! Host's were friendly and responsive. If we could stay forever we would!

Incredible weekend getaway!

We reached out to the owner about our interest in the house for my brother in-laws birthday and they were nothing but kind! When we arrived they had birthday balloons, sparkling grape juice, and flowers for Wayne. This made everything more special for Wayne and all of us. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after our drive and waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the water was just what we needed! Plus we got to see dolphins playing right from the dock! All in all this was an incredible experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you Jon and Misty for extending your home to our family!

Nice property! Hopefully spectrum fixes the internet connection which isn’t your fault at all. Dolphins were visible from inside looking out. Owner was great to deal with!
