“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“We take a family trip to the beach every year, but as our family grows, it gets harder and harder to find a place we can afford. This home was perfect! The grown / single kids stayed in the fourth bedroom outside of the house. My husband, myself, our 8 year old, and our oldest with her two children (9 months and 2 years) stayed in the house. “The house was very cleaned and had everything we needed. It had a great location and the dock and kayaks were probably our favorite part. We could see dolphins in the Morning. The house was equipped with everything you could need while on vacation. The game room was absolutely perfection for the couple of rainy days we had. ”

“This propert was extremely welcoming. It was a perfect setting and situated close to all of the main attractions. ”

“Only 3 easily walkable blocks to beach access. Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood! Close to everything. We also visited Moorehead City and Beauford by car, which were both less than 6 miles away. Leashed dogs allowed on the beach at all times was definitely a plus!”

“We absolutely adored the inn. Especially the location. Within walking distance to shops, & numerous eateries. It was as if the setting was picked straight out of a beach themed movie. The room is very simple and small but we were not in there enough to make much of an impact. If we are ever back in the area we would not hesitate to stay there again.”

“Staff communication was fantastic. We arrived late at night and check in was easy. Prime location - we left the vehicle parked and walked to the beach, restaurants, brewery, biergarten, etc. Beach access was close and beach spot was very nice. The entire area was extremely pet friendly which worked out perfect. Most places had water bowls and the Crab’s Claw even had a pet menu.”
