“The staff were excellent”

“This hotel was just fine for an overnight stay while traveling. As other reviewers have said, the place is a bit dated. It could do with some updating and some deep cleaning of the bathrooms (where there seemed to be some dirt in the corners and mold that could have been removed with close cleaning). We appreciated that the double rooms had queen beds. The beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The price was reasonable and I would be fine staying here again.”

“Absolutely dirty. Nothing was cleaned. The bathroom was the worst. Mirror wasn't even clean. Floors squished out water because the fan didn't work. Since the exhaust fan didnt work there was a slimy film of dirt running down the walls as well. Mold growing on ceiling leaving me super sick. Holes in. The walls and doors. The bathroom window was taped together. The room smelled like moldy cigarette smoke. Bedding was dirty with burn holes. We went and got new blankets and sheets and pillows...

“The room was clean, but the let out couch was dated and looked dusty. The staff at front desk, dining area(Sundays Staff), and the staff cleaning the rooms were friendly, however, the staff who freshened up room 416 Saturday July 11th did not do good of tidying it up. She put fresh towels in and half-way made the two beds no vaccum, and no sweeping. Breakfast was normal nothing that stands out, parking was great. “This site was acceptable, but definitely not up to Marriott standards. When we arrived the room only had one towel (there were two of us), and had no shower gel or hand soap. We went a day and a half with no hot water after being promised it was being fixed. We ended up changing rooms after a search for a room that did have hot water. “The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and there was no drain stopper in the sink making it hard to shave and the stopper in the tub didn’t work at all The staff in the bistro were constantly having loud conversations or arguments while we were eating breakfast The temperature in the room was always too hot or too cold. There must have been something wrong with the thermostat The remote for the TV was not properly responsive There was poor lighting in the room and very few outlets”

“While run down, there were some positives. The location is good for visiting the national park and is close to dining and stores in town. It is oriented such it is quiet at night even though near the interstate. It is affordable. The AC worked well, there was hot water, refrigerator worked, and bed was OK. One of the two key cards did not work from the moment I got it and another failed the night before I left and had to be replaced by a staff member. The toilet got stopped up. The towels are...
