“This stay was such a cool experience! Dina, the owner, curated such a unique, beautiful, and intimate wine tasting experience. Dina and Jeff were very kind and accomodating. If you go in the winter, keep in mind it will be chilly, but they provided us with wool blankets to help keep warm! Overall, definitely recommend this stay/experience.”

“This is a brand new property, everything is clean and the design is lovely. Our only observations are that our room still smelled like new construction/paint. Obviously that's temporary. Our "premium" room was also directly on a street that had street parking and as a result was very noisy with cars coming and going. Others will have a different experience staying elsewhere in the hotel.”

“The rooms were clean and furnishings looked brand new, were stylish and thoughtfully planned. The bed was very comfortable! One reason I booked us at the Steinbeck was its location away from the 101 Hwy. Although there was some street noise overall it was quieter than any other Salinas lodgings I'd stayed in on previous occasions. Occasionally there was noise from the plumbing, perhaps from another room. I will book the Steinbeck Lodge during our next stay in Salinas.”
