“The Wampler House is a hidden gem. The environment was warm, cozy and inviting. Our hostess, Sally, was kind and jovial and much of the warmth ensconced in Wampler House, came from her. Absolutely delicious breakfasts were served and were expertly prepared. She also has gluten and dairy-free options for those who have dietary restrictions. Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the decor was tasteful and inviting. We will be back! ”

“We wish we had more time to explore! With only having a one night stay and coming in later in the evening, we missed out on some fun possibilities. Waking up the next morning to the beautiful lake, we were wishing for our fishing poles! We would have loved to have had time for a campfire and a dinner on the pier. I would have loved the opportunity to sit in the watch chairs and read one of the many books provided. We did have a chance to enjoy the board games, as well as the picnic table on...

“This two room rental was perfect for my family of three. It would be nice to have a TV in the living room/ dining area. Since my son stayed in that room on the couch and didn't want to watch what was on our TV, it would have been nice if he had a TV to watch. However, he had his phone so it was not a big deal for him.”
