“When the hotel was last renovated, they used a Philippines-Industrial style and it looks very pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be maintained or cleaned properly. Everywhere a chair or sofa or mattress touches the wall, there are marks or it is discolored (dirty). I did not wear my slippers in the room for the first few hours of our stay and my feet were literally black from the floor. The whole place is just superficially cleaned, no deep cleaning. “This was my 2nd time staying at Coco Grande. The hotel is cozy, and has an older vibe to it. Very nice.”

“Always good VFM and close to city centre. Although a bit smaller the downstairs rooms are just as good as the family room. So book smaller room with small charge for extra bed.”

“Hotle just in the center of the city and with malls and shops just out of the door. You have hospitals, schools, churches, market, anything around! The room is big and confortable, desk tv. The bathroom has good quality wc and hot water shower. There is a coffee shop at second floor. The reception is open 24h. Very gentle employees. I had more than expected. Really good experience. ”

“Great location close to the local restaurants, shops, and the walking path at the water. The large apartment gave us the space we needed to stay with family. The kitchen area is small, we purchased a few key items at DIY to make it more functional for us (sharp knife, spatula, towel). The swimming pool is refreshing and was empty when we were there. Washing machine in the unit is very useful. Hopefully they will add a rack to hang the clothes do drying.”
