“We only stayed for one night and it was a basic hotel stay. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and the air got cold. Got a great night sleep then left early the next morning. It was a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy or frilly, but I paid a basic price for a standard room. As long as it’s clean and serves the purpose, I’m happy. I’d definitely stay again if passing through the area.”

“First the Dillard's house has the most beautiful view of the mountains it was so gorgeous we really loved eating in the front dining room and enjoying the delicious food at the restaurant. “entry/exit door was uneven, extremely hard to open. Maintenance (possible owner) called, he had to kick the door to show us how to open it. Reserved a handicap accessible online, but it didn't show that in her computer (?), luckily they had 1 left.”

“Loved Outpost Inn; highly recommend and can't imagine staying anywhere else in town -- incredible vibe, great coffee shop and wine bar, lots of cute spots to sit inside and outside. It felt like the place in town when all the younger, cooler (young meaning, 50 and under, ha) hang out. I loved my room, which was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the free drip coffee in the mornings. And wow, the weather in Highlands can't be beat in the summer.”

“Over all stay was okay but when you book through Expedia, they don't provide a good room. I don't know what is the deal between them or it's about the person who stays there. Am an Asian obviously I can't change my face I wish I could to treat equally. They have the best slot for others they put me somewhere down where I can hear if someone walks upstairs I can hear clearly coz it's only the wooden floors and no carpet on it. “Not what you'd expect for a $400/nt Marriott. Old lumpy uncomfortable mattress, a lot of dark mold/mildew in the shower and bath floor tile, no (or broken) AC in the common sitting areas on a 90 degree day so it felt like a sauna, entrance doors with most of the paint worn off. Overall just not well maintained. Staff wasn't bad but not overly friendly either.”

“Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. ”

“Terrible customer service. The receptionist was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional from the moment we checked in. After learning that a few members of our group were smokers, he repeatedly questioned why we had booked non-smoking rooms, even though we clearly explained that we understood the no-smoking policy and had no intention of smoking indoors. Instead of treating us with respect, he kept lecturing us and even threatened to cancel our reservation. We felt judged and unwelcome...
