“Stayed for two nights. Very lovely setting, clean and well stoked with amenities. Bonus access to hotel facilities which we didn’t have time to use but lovely to walk around the front garden. “While the location is excellent, calling this a luxury apartment is simply false advertising. It is large but still only 1 bedroom with a poor outlook over garages. Kitchen appliances are capable of preparing a roast dinner but the crockery and cutlery are mismatched and lacking. The mattress is some sort of lumpy foam - the worst I have ever encountered.”

We loved the location, in the middle of the old town, close to shops and restaurants, with meandering stairs/streets and lovely seafront. Especially loved the quiet mornings and evenings, and if streets were sometimes busy with tourists during the day, that was fine, we used that time to jump on a ferry to explore other villages for a few hours. “Stayed for 4 nights the last week of September. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Property is right by the water, well maintained, close to downtown, tons of dining options. Ferry and bus line less than a 10 minutes walk. Best by far, the view you get from the property is breathtaking. Clara and her family were very attentive. I would absolutely book again if returning to Como. Highly recommend. ”

“I stayed with my son at la Cascina for two weeks. It’s a lovely little place with a spectacular view of Lake Como. It’s located at “il borgo “ and you are near everything: restaurants, shops, scalinatas... but with absolute peace because it’s in the inner streets of the town. Leonardo is an excellent host, who goes beyond his duty to make your staying enjoyable. He even managed to find us a pump to inflate my son’s wheelchair’s wheels. We will surely return.”
