“We checked in at approximately 4 PM. We were assigned a room on the first floor. They don't have screens in their windows so there were flying insects in the room(the area has a bug called a Midge). There were a handful of them smashed on the counter of the bathroom and on the walls as the window was left open before we arrived. “We booked through Expedia for 3 nights. Because of a medical emergency requiring us to drive 10 hours back to RI we had to leave a day earlier than expected. We experienced this emergency on Saturday evening and so informed the desk clerk. We were told we needed to call Expedia since we did not give them 48 hours advance notice. “This is a wedding venue mostly but they do make rooms available to guests during the week and off peak periods. The entrance to the property threw me as it was behind the parking lot of a defunct closed strip mall and at first, I wasn’t sure the approach was taking me to the right place.. when you arrive and park, there is a 24/7 lobby that is not staffed, there I found a basket with an envelope and my name on it which contained a passcode to the common area and my room. “It was dissociating experience. Bed was terrible, soft and noisy. I could understand if a hotel room didn’t have an iron, but charging $100 and not even providing shampoo or a hair dryer is absolutely unacceptable. The rooms were also very old and unattractive. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.”

“We arrived to find the property under renovation. Our room was one in a wing of rooms in original condition. The carpet was torn and stained, not clear the sheets were clean, no towels, the towel rack was hanging off the wall as was the tissue holder, no glasses or cups, there was an extra (dented) refrigerator in the room. It would probably have failed any health or accommodation codes.”

“The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The overall room was basically “you get what you pay for” kind of thing. The bathroom had random wholes in the wall. The shower curtain was dirty and the sink was too. The faucet was leaking as well. All the light switches were filthy so I assume the one in the bathroom had poop on it. I wouldn’t stay again. I suggest traveling with Clorox wipes, Lysol and gloves which is what I always do.”

“The parking lot house several abandoned cars. The elevator last inspection expired 8/20/2022. The building smelled of marijuana . The breakfast counter area was dirty, along with the hallways. The pool was not cleaned or available for use. They had a handwritten note on the pool door stating, “Closed No Chemicals “. I would not recommend having them on our travel site and I hate that I booked it from the pictures that Expedia shared and their pool. When we go to the Cleveland area we enjoy...
