“This visit was a little disappointing. There was no soap in the room and the bathtub appeared that it hadn't been cleaned. I was told to park in front of the of the assigned room, but when I arrived there at 7 o'clock there was no space there.”

“This is a wedding venue mostly but they do make rooms available to guests during the week and off peak periods. The entrance to the property threw me as it was behind the parking lot of a defunct closed strip mall and at first, I wasn’t sure the approach was taking me to the right place.. when you arrive and park, there is a 24/7 lobby that is not staffed, there I found a basket with an envelope and my name on it which contained a passcode to the common area and my room. I was the only one...

“A good place to stay when visiting Mentor. The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and amenities like fridge and microwave were there for us. The front desk staff member was friendly and helpful during check-in. There was complimentary continental breakfast included with the stay. ”

“NOWHERE on Expedia, the company website, nor the property website does it mention a SECURITY DEPOSIT. We booked a room at this location because we were short on money. When we got there we were told that we would need to pay a security deposit AND THE ROOM WE BOOKED WAS NON REFUNDABLE. NOT INFORMING OF A SECURITY DEPOSIT ON ANY OF THE WEBSITES AND THEN PEOPLE NOT BEING ABLE TO GET REFUNDS IF THEY DONT WANT TO STAY IS DECEITFUL AND BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE! “booked a room with a jacuzzi. i was really looking forward to it but it was leaking when i tried to use it. I was asked to turn it off and maintenance would get to it the next day. maintenance never got to fixing it during my stay and I didnt get to use what i payed for”

“It was dissociating experience. Bed was terrible, soft and noisy. I could understand if a hotel room didn’t have an iron, but charging $100 and not even providing shampoo or a hair dryer is absolutely unacceptable. The rooms were also very old and unattractive. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.”

“We arrived to find the property under renovation. Our room was one in a wing of rooms in original condition. The carpet was torn and stained, not clear the sheets were clean, no towels, the towel rack was hanging off the wall as was the tissue holder, no glasses or cups, there was an extra (dented) refrigerator in the room. It would probably have failed any health or accommodation codes.”
