Hotel vicino a Chapel in Hills - Rapid City

“Asked for early check-in...Room wasn't cleaned...We are senior citizens and had a ground floor room with walkout...we were given a 4th floor room overlooking the parkinglot...It was very stuffy and we both had headaches the next day...asked for different room but they said they could not help us because we went thru Expedia...only stayed one night instead of 2...and it took Expedia to get a refund for second night. Ps...Breakfast was COLD!!! We won't stay there again! ClubHouse in Sioux Falls...

“It was okay. I think doubletree properties are not well maintained and going down hill. The room was very dusty and did not a shower curtain The parking fee is just a revenue grab. No one was parked there.”

“Being a Hampton Inn I expected more, overall it was good, the breakfast was standard fare and did the job. Parking was good. The worst thing was we were there for 8 days and had to beg for towels, empty trash. Our bed made only once. I asked the front desk after a couple days for housekeeping to come and do a full clean - vacuum, mop, trash, bed etc. Not done! We paid good money and never been so disappointed. The staff was nice enough but doesn’t excuse the lack of cleaning.”

“Old room with old furniture falling to pieces, fitted carpet smells like a cigar, 2 crashed cars parked outside, scam breakfast (just coffe, PBJ, and out-of-date bagel). Such a shame, because the hall was nice and the cleaning very good. You can find better place nearby. Not recommended.”

“L'hotel è confortevole e gradevole anche architettonicamente, è situato appena fuori dal centro di Rapid City che comunque non offre molto tranne alcuni buoni locali dove mangiare e qualche negozio, il centro è facilmente raggiungibile in 5 minuti di auto. Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni in quattro persone in una stanza sufficientemente ampia e comoda, pulizia della stanza ottima.Colazione e piscina nella norma. Buon punto di appoggio per visitare Mount Rushmore e le altre attrattive della zona...

“There was hair in bed when comforter pulled down. The bathroom amenities were empty - no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. I spoke to staff and they said they weren’t able to “compensate” me or give a discount because room was booked on Expedia.”

“The staff was wonderful as our first room smelled bad and they gave us a different one that was ok. Just ok hotel.”
