“Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay.”

“Very comfy big bed, shower and taps took ages to get hot, but eventually did. Lots of tea and coffee options in room together with a fridge with wine and snacks if required. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bit strange going in and out at back of the building, but happy to recommend as somewhere central to stay.”

“We had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is lovely and conveniently located just a short walk from the town centre. Our room was beautifully furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only slight downside was a bit of noise from the road, but it didn’t spoil our stay. Overall, a great experience and we would happily return.”

“If you are looking for a boutique hotel with a good "value for money", here you are. In the city centre, wide rooms, very clean, lovely furniture, warm welcome, nice breakfast. The cherry on the cake is the restaurant downstairs: lovely food and very nice wines. I will stay here again”

“I highly recommend the Grafton. Friendly welcome, I had a meeting in the town the next morning an they gave me a car parking pass so I don’t not need to move my car. Room had everything I needed, spacious and very comfortable. ”

“The Inn at South Stainley Stayed one night only Stayed in room 6 in the annexe, a short stride from the main building. Super king bed, spacious warm and welcoming room, spotless . Good size bathroom with both rain shower and body shower. Complimentary toiletries including shower caps! Dressing gowns and slippers, a lovely touch). Luxury teas and coffee (only uht milk, but I’m sure the main building would offer fresh). Veranda with seating. The evening meal was amazing. Fresh, well seasoned,...
