“Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, modern but in keeping with the age and style of the building. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really nice menu to choose from. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Soutsea and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend paying the extra for a parking bay at the front of the hotel as street parking could be tricky. We stayed to visit family in Southsea and will definitely use this hotel again!”

“A lovely stay at a really impressive hotel. The hotel is stunning, it’s right on the seafront with free parking. The grandeur of this building is impossible to ignore. Our room had a sea view, it was quite small but perfect for one night. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely book here again. Thank you 😊”

“Gorgeous hotel with lovely, polite & enthusiastic staff! We were upgraded to a fabulous suite & the parking options were great. We loved this unique boutique hotel which has been decorated & designed with care & passion. Local transport was brilliant & Southsea is a hidden blossoming gem which we’ll be back to see next year! We will of course be checking back in to the Clarence or one of its sisters. Thank you for making our stay so memorable x”
