We’re tucked away in Matthews, just outside Charlotte, where you’ll get the charm of a small town with the convenience of the city only minutes away. Convenient access to major highways (74 & I-485) makes it easy to explore the city, enjoy shopping and restaurants nearby, or spend time outdoors at local parks.

This home is perfect for families, friends, or anyone traveling with pets. There’s plenty of room to spread out, a comfy living room for movie nights, and a fully stocked kitchen when you’d rather stay in. And if you need to sneak in some work, we’ve set up a small desk so you can get things done with ease.

Please note: This property is part of a duplex. While there is another unit next door, the space you are booking is completely private. You’ll have full, exclusive access to your unit — including a private entrance, parking area, backyard space, and no shared interior areas. The neighboring unit has its own separate access and is occasionally occupied by other guests, but your space is not shared in any way.

You will have complete private access to the home and may check yourself in at your convenience. Please, make yourself at home!

We live nearby, so can be there in an emergency. We are about 35 minutes away. There might be guests in the other half of the duplex during your stay, however there is no internal connection between the homes, so you will have total privacy. We are always only a phone call/message away!

This South Charlotte town of Matthews offers shopping, dining, parks and churches all within a short drive from the city's famous uptown. It is a coveted area of the Charlotte life. Golf enthusiasts may rejoice in the many courses nearby as well.

There is a long drive that can fit three or four cars. There is public transportation by bus, and it is 10-15 minutes from the light rail if you'd like to park and ride into the city, which is the preferred method to avoid uptown parking. It's a nice transport. Its a busy road on the corner, however you can go running away from the main road through the neighborhood, and there are great parks very near by as well as green spaces. Courtney road has no outlet, so it is not clogged with through road traffic.

You'll need a car or an Uber/Lyft to get around. There is ample parking on premises if you will bring your car.
There are bus stops nearby, and taking the CATS blue line metro is a great way to get into uptown without dealing with parking.

Please be advised that nightly rate increases when you add your dogs and will not show as a separate line item during the booking process. It is important to reveal the number of guests and dogs during the booking process. If you will be bringing 3 or more dogs, we kindly request that you inform us.

If the house is available, we may be able to accommodate early check-in (earliest at 12 PM) for a $50.00 fee.
