“This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. “Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.”
