“This is an outstanding property in a quiet, picturesque part of Stoke-on-Trent (the village of Barlaston). Morgan at Reception on Tuesday afternoon 15/7/25 was fantastic… very helpful, very pleasant! Dinner was very nice…and the wait staff pleasant and efficient! Our room was well appointed and beds very comfortable, with a nice ensuite and shower. This property exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this property! “The property needs a serious overhaul looking very dated in decoration.
Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall.
Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use.
Minamul tea facilities in room.
Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel .
Think i will book a different hotel next time”

“Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return.
Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us....

The building and grounds are impressive and there's plenty of parking. The buffet breakfast was very good and thanks largely to a wedding reception taking place at the same time as our stay, we were upgraded at no additional cost to a lovely room in the main building.”
