“Stayed many many times over many years and always enjoyed the very friendly staff and the nice ambience AND the food. Also, great real ale! Very clean, good sized, comfortable rooms. Great food in the restaurant but this time the pork was not to my liking. Also, couldn't help but notice the reduced service at breakfast---where did those tiny coffee cups come from!? Also, I have to get my own coffee now. Small changes but is it the thin edge of the wedge! BUT, great staff! ”

“The stay we had at The Bears Paw was perfect, rooms clean, food amazing, staff so friendly. We brought our dog, Paddington with us and the staff made him feel so welcome and he was even given a little gift on arrival and a sausage at breakfast. We had found this hotel on the off chance as we had come up to get some work done on our camper van! What a gem of a find! X Beautiful, cosy, clean, friendly hotel! We will definitely be returning.
