“Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. “The staff were absolutely lovely - so friendly, helpful and they made it seem like we weren't in a budget motorway hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was just right which is rare. Plus it was half the price of other budget chains. Obviously no onsite new but made to look old pub for breakfast like other hotels but that was ok as there was one at the next motorway junction if you were that keen!”
