“The hotel was nice. However. I was supposed to get a room with a tub. When we got to our room. The room that we had didn't have a tub in it. Called the front desk. They stated that there was nothing that they could do due to the hotel being booked up. Which I get. But no offer of”

“Wonderful place! Loved my room! So quaint and a cute balcony. Very comfortable bed where I slept like a baby. Comfortable stuffed chairs, cute small tables for eating, drinking and playing cards. Each room has their own bathroom! Some with jacuzzis, clawed bathtubs, showers etc. this is definitely an advantage to have your own bathroom. I will go again and stay longer than 3 days!coffee and pastries are a delight in the AM. I also went on a helicopter ride! What an amazing experience!”

“The price of the hotel was ridiculous. Over 300$. I was expecting a really nice place. Don't get me wrong. It was clean and modern. We had two rooms and both had pieces of the bathroom that were falling off. And had to fix a toilet and one of the toilet seats was really loose and pinched skin. The beds were very comfy! The breakfast was the bomb....So so good. The staff was amazing and very accommodating and super friendly. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the price. Way way to over priced....

“The check in SUCKED!! No service outside the building so couldn't even check in. No conditioner or body soap in shower even though it was suppose to be Aveda products and there was an oiled up foot print on the wall by the bed. Not cool for how much they charge!!”

“Staff were very nice and welcoming, gave great recommendations for the area. Facility was clean inside and beds were very comfortable. Temperature inside was warm and rather humid despite the AC. Parking is very difficult if you do not reserve a space for $10+ per night, the area does not allow street parking overnight. Neighborhood is pretty rough. A few guests came into the dorm late into the night (2-4am) dropping cans of beer and making a fair bit of noise but other than that very quiet....

“Room was fine, beds were awful. Hard and any movement was noticed. Fine if you're sleeping alone, not great if you're sharing a bed”

“The only disappointment we had was trying to change the thermostat and the a/c unit is very loud when it turns on and off.”

“This hotel is right in the center of Canal Park so convenient to everything. It is very affordable in the winter. There's a good bar and grill right across the street that stays open until 2 AM in the morning which is a big plus if you're arriving late.”

“Our room was OK, but the rest of the property and building is really rundown. There is no elevator, with the hotel being three floors. No coffee in the room.”

“The studio room was wonderful! We loved the fully-functioning kitchen and the room was just pleasant. The only drawback we found was dust (?) on the closet shelf. We had bag there, and when we pulled it down something like white dust covered our clothes. Otherwise, the room and service was great. We will come back.”

“breakfast was awesome, they have a waffle bar toppings. in the evening they had a smores bar. evenings also had warm lemongrass washclothes for you, it was lovely. the coast guard station was right out our window which was fun since we are both coast guard veterans”
