Loon Lake (Warren County) Chestertown: chalet Adirondack luminoso, pulito e accogliente

Nella Chester Shores Homeowners Association privata lungo Loon Lake, situata al largo della Route 8/9 a Chestertown, a New York, la bella "Haus Cronov" è immersa tra i pini su una strada privata in un quartiere esclusivo con diritti di spiaggia a due spiagge private sul Loon Lake.

Chalet costruito nel 1989, aggiornato con pavimenti in legno, riscaldamento a pavimento radiante e stufa a gas a ventilazione diretta in una grande sala / cucina regolabile su termostati, una veranda protetta + nuova cucina nel 2008/2009. Un comodo 4. 4 mi. guidare da Adirondack Northway 87 uscita 25 o dal centro città di Chestertown.

Il custode in loco spiega gli elettrodomestici e il riscaldamento, per gli arrivi a tarda notte consultare la guida alle ISTRUZIONI viola.

Delle numerose aree sciistiche, la più vicina è Gore Mt., una panoramica di 13 miglia. in auto, a pochi chilometri dal fiume Hudson.

Luminoso, pulito e accogliente chalet in legno di 1 1/2 piano fiancheggiato da area forestale e cortile di 1 acro. 3 camere da letto includono: 2 letti Queen - camera da letto principale soppalco e camera da letto in ottone; 1 letto a castello + 1 letto matrimoniale nella camera dei bambini; 1 letto singolo nel soppalco.
2 bagni completi (2 docce), ampio + soggiorno / sala da pranzo / cucina a vista con stufa a gas a sfiato diretto, 1 acro di cortile, altalena nella struttura ad albero per giochi / relax per bambini, grande terrazza a grembiule su 3 lati con zona pranzo coperta da tenda di un lungo tavolo per grandi grigliate all'aperto. Cucina moderna e ben fornita. Casa facile da mantenere, splendida vista sulla natura e sugli alberi di Adirondack in ogni stagione.

Sono disponibili due spiagge sabbiose private sul lago di Loon, entrambe a 5 minuti a piedi lungo le strade sterrate dell'associazione privata. Parcheggio disponibile in entrambe le spiagge con permesso per gli ospiti. Buona pesca al largo dei moli delle barche, aree di nuoto con corde galleggianti, grande area giochi e sabbia, campo da basket pavimentato + campo da beach volley, camino + tavoli da picnic in spiaggia, in motoslitta invernale o pesca sul ghiaccio sul lago Loon.

In estate un paradiso per famiglie, in autunno un'esperienza di fogliame mozzafiato, in inverno un paese delle meraviglie invernale solitario e romantico, in primavera a mt. ciclismo, esplosione di rafting sulla natura, 'Haus Cronov' offre lo sfondo ideale per le vostre vacanze.

Nel vicino villaggio si trova il Chestertown Medical Center, skilift gratuito, slittino e pattinaggio a Dynamite Hill, concerti in estate, centro informazioni, negozi e ristoranti caratteristici, negozio di alimentari, ecc.

Lakeside relaxation

Crista is very responsive and always pleasant to deal with, check-in is a breeze, and Haus Cronov is comfortable and meticulously maintained. Conveniently located just a minute from the public beach on Loon Lake--with lots of hiking and other outdoor adventures surrounding. We love the screen porch for family dinners, occasional remote work, and watching thunder storms roll over the mountains!

Spacious ski chalet

We loved our stay at House Cronov, our group of eight had enough room to eat and play together as well as separate rooms to get some privacy after a long day skiing. We loved how clean and well equipped the house was (plenty kitchen items, towels, blankets etc) and how fast the house keeper responded to our needs. We will be back…

Adirondack Chalet

Wonderful stay at Haus Cronov. The house was clean, well organized and stocked with all the essentials. There was plenty of room for our family to gather and play games or just sit and read. The kids enjoyed the lake, a trip to Adirondack extreme and hiking the many trails. Chestertown just a short drive.

Lovely Loon Lake getaway

Our multi-generational family enjoyed another wonderful week at Haus Cronov. The house is clean and updated and very comfortable. Everything is meticulously labeled for guests’ convenience and every possible question anticipated. The kitchen is better stocked than any we have ever experienced in a rental, and the spacious open floor plan and, especially, the screened porch, are perfect for a family gathering. Loon Lake is a peaceful Adirondack destination and the house is very conveniently located to enjoy all it has to offer. We will certainly return to Haus Cronov to enjoy it!

Cozy Retreat Near Loon Lake

Our stay at House Cronov was very relaxing. The home is comfortable, well stocked, and very organized. We especially enjoyed meals in the screened in porch. We tried a number of local restaurants and had excellent meals at each one. One day kayaks were rented and used on Loon Lake for a fun morning activity. In addition, bike trips were taken in the area. One of the trips was a loop setup to go around Loon Lake and Friends Lake. We recommend staying at House Cronov and would rent again! Clean Cozy Home

Our stay was short to ski at Gore Mountain over the weekend. When we arrived the home was clean and just as advertised. Location is good in relation to Gore and the Free Sledding hill down the road was a big hit with the kids!

Winter Ski Getaway

Haus Cronov was a wonderful "home away from home" for our group of 5. We enjoyed two days of skiing at Gore Mountain and a beautiful space to come back to afterwards! The natural lighting was great and the lofted bedroom was a fun touch. Thanks for a great trip!

Clean and sunny cabin

Just as advertised, this cabin was clean, nicely maintained, and comfortable. We enjoyed the neighborhood private beach and relaxing on deck and screened in porch. Host communicated well. The backyard is right on Rt 8/9, so there is a small amount of road noise but not disruptive. Kitchen is very well equipped and we appreciated the info about the area, especially the farmers market in Chestertown. Thank you for a nice stay!

Lovely Adirondack Chalet at Loon Lake

Our three generation family has been vacationing at Loon Lake for several years but stayed for the first time this year at Haus Cronov. The house did not disappoint. The open living space is perfect for a group. It was immaculately clean upon check-in. In two decades of renting vacation homes, I have not come across as solicitous a host as Crista. Everything is meticulously labeled with answers to every question that might occur to you (what's the wifi password? how does this fan turn on? etc.) There is also a comprehensive binder of information and the family's personalized recommendations for the area, and Crista is very quick to respond to any questions you might email. The kitchen is very well stocked--clearly this is a family vacation house where much cooking is done. The large dining table inside and out would seat a crowd, and we loved having meals on the breezy screened porch. It feels like sitting in a treehouse. Couches and linens are updated and carpet looks brand new. There is a newly renovated basement rec room not featured on the listing, with a foosball table that was a big hit with the kids. Loon Lake is pristine and never crowded--we love kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing there. Nearby hikes are lovely as well. Highly recommend the area and Haus Cronov!

Great place for a family getaway

I stayed here with my family who were visiting from Ireland and we had a wonderful week. The house accomodated us well - there was plenty of space over 3 floors for us to spread out. The screened-in porch was just lovely for evening dinners and games and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook big dinners. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of fans for hot nights. Crista is a very responsive host and got back to me quickly with questions. There are two beaches within the housing association - both about a 4-5 minute walk - and we enjoyed them very much. Some minor downsides: if you're into fishing it's not very easy there - the private beaches don't allow it. The rental does not come with kayaks or canoes, and though you can rent them at a local marina, you cannot park them at the association beaches. This makes it difficult to rent for the week and come and go. Also, there's a photo of a twin bed that wasn't there when we arrived but we made do with an air mattress. The house is located on a main road so the traffic noise permeates the Adirondack nature sounds you hope to hear. Overall, though, I did really love our stay. We swam, had fires in the pit, took long walks and were very comfortable. It's nice that it's very easy to get to grocery stores, ice cream, pizza, and Stewart's. I would definitely recommend Haus Cronov for a great Adirondack experience.

Winter 2022 in Chestertown

Spent another lovely winter at Haus Cronov enjoying the winter offerings of the Adirondacks, especially Gore Mountain. This winter chalet once again provided our family of four with a much needed respite from the daily burn of our school and work schedules. Nothing better than enjoying the late day sun of the Adirondacks in the house after a day of skiing. Crista and Stefan are supreme hosts and incredibly responsive to any issues that may arrive during a stay. We look forward to returning.

Wonderful!

We had a great week! House was lovely, well stocked, and we especially enjoyed eating inside the closed-in porch. Crista was extremely accommodating and responsive. Beach was great! Kids enjoyed the large yard, floating raft, basketball court, and made friends with other residents/ guests and enjoyed many a volleyball game. Water was warm, weather was great ... couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Summer escape

We loved spending time at the Chalet! We enjoyed all our meals on the screened in porch, time at the two beaches, and the short drive to many great local hikes! Crista was a great host- very responsive when we had questions about anything.

Wonderful stay!

Our stay at Haus Cronov was wonderfully relaxing. The house was just as described, and included everything we needed. Crista reached out more than once to ensure we were doing well. Our favorite parts were dinner on the screened in porch; coffee on the deck , watching the deer and listening to the birds; and the short walk to the lake, where the kids had a blast jumping off the dock. Perfect place for a family fo spend a week away. The kids are already asking when we can go back.

A Relaxing Week

We wanted to treat our niece, her husband, and two toddlers to a relaxing week vacation after the difficult previous year of pandemic. The accommodations were perfect as we could stay up in the loft while their family had their own bath and two bedrooms downstairs. We took advantage of the large deck and screened porch. The children played games in the large yard and ate s’mores at night at the fire pit. We went on long walks on nearby trails. Our favorite was Pinnacle near Bolton Landing. The children loved swimming at the community beach. On an early morning at the beach they saw two adult lions with babies up close from the boat dock. Everything we needed was available at the house from washer/ dryer to gas grill. Everything was neat and tidy upon our arrival. It was just what this young family needed to emerge fully from the pandemic. Thank you very much
